Afternoon Chatter

Yesterday Vince and Sheena came over and they brought Tyler with them. We all sat outside for a good 3 hours watching the sun fade into the horizon, while Tyler chased the dogs around. Three year olds and 5 dogs are a good mix. He played happily with Sam, throwing a little tennis football for him. He did get a bit of a time out when he called Vince a dick. Sheena was mad. Tyler has finally warmed up to Chris. Chris would chase him around saying brocolli. Don’t ask me why Ty thought this was hilarious, but he did. Until he got scared and climbed right up into my lap. It was so sweet. I think we tired the poor little guy out. The vicodin really helped with my teeth, but I was very loopy at the time. Still functional, just loopy.

Later that night I did somemore Mod chat on AIM. All of us moderators get along very well,a nd most of us are outspoken people. So we just chatted about everything from cats, to siblings, to In laws, and Hasselhoff even came up.

Monday or Tuesday we are having homemade taco night here, and having Sheena and Vince over. I love our taco nights. We season the raw hamburger with garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder, and some hot suace. Chris fries up some tortilla shells, and we make shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, homemade gaucamole, sour cream, oinions, tomatos, rice, and beans. I wish we could make horchata. MMMmmmmm sweet rice milk! I bet we could in the blender…. I’d have to ask Chris about that one. He’s the cooking genius, I just assist. The onlyt hing that bugs me about his cooking style is he doesn’t get everything out that he needs, so he’s constantly calling me away from what I’m doing to get him stuff. But I do it with a smile, because he is the cook. It’s the way it’s always been. I personally love it that he cooks, and I don’t. The feminist in me is proud. Of course I’m always proud of him.

I am dying to upload pictures! I have so many! I usually upload them and copy them all into a folder, and when that folder gets full, I’ll burn them to a disk. New age photo albums. I’m still wanting to do a corkboard of pictures on our wall. All black and white of our friends, and family, and animals, and then have one picture of us in the middle, color. Or have black & white and sepia pictures scattered and one color photo of us. I love corkboards. I really wanna get back into crafty stuff, I need to go buy some things. I’ve given up hope on my wedding scrapbook for now, I just don’t have time. I did get all our pictures in the wedding album though. Which brings me to the point that we need a bookcase. We don’t have one. I think it’s extremely weird.
