Housing *e*

Today was eventful. I literally slept all day. It was nice, but sickening at the same time. I hate sleeping so much. For the past two hours I’ve been searching houses on the internet. I’ve seen a couple good ones, and hopefully once we hear from the insurance company, Chris and I can go look at a few of them.

Our neighbors Al and Debbie are moving now too. Since they’ve heard what we told them, they don’t want any chances. I’ll miss being neighbors with them. They are great people! Annoying but good hearted.

So Chris tells me this morning that *I* actually get to pick the new house! I’m so excited! I’ve already started compiling a list of features everyone wants in the new house. I know it won’t be for a while, especially if the insurance company stonewalls us. I have faith that this sinkhole is a blessing in disguise.

This is more for my memory, since paper gets lost on me so easily. Read if you feel the need. More will be added later.

Our budget for the new house will be 136,000. Out here that will buy a nice 3 or 4 bedroom house, at least.

* Must have a fence

* Either a basement(preferably finished), or an extra room for a safe room.

*big back yard

* At least 3 bedrooms, and at least 2 bathrooms

* Larger bathrooms

* Bigger closets, preferably walk in

* Large kitchen

*At least 1500+ square feet

*2 car garage
