My Military Day

Yesterday I got up at 8 showered curled my hair, dressed and got ready. We left at 15 after 11. Got to the base and hung out for a few minutes with Wes. He looked so good in his military attire! He has so many medals its ridiculous! Then my mother in law, Cindy and I were escorted in with the guys behind us as the offical party. I video taped the entire thing, since everyone else was taking pictures. The best part was when they said, and I quote, "Master Sargent Bryant (different last name, Chris has a different dad than the other kids) organized, trained, and equipped a tactical air control party, led his team into Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, accomplished the mission, and returned all those under his charge safe and alive." How freakin awesome is that that my brother in law not only kicked some infedal ass but also brought home every one of his men home alive and uninjured! After the ceremony we had some cake and oj. Cindy took Sandra and I home, while Chris and his dad went to the commisary and bought Sandra a christmas present. Then we went to the blackhorse pub eat and joined the party. Most of the men in his batallion are deployed right now, so there wasnt a huge party. We didnt stay too long but it was a good time. Im so proud of Wes.
