The Cableman

I called Telewest today and I have a man coming to my new flat to hopefully tell us when we can get the cable tv, broadband and phone all re-connected. We get them all for about £30 a month I think, with no re-connection fee becuase the people in the flat before us had it already and we phoned Telewest within 1 month of it being disconnected. I hope he isnt like Jim Carrey in that film. My flatmate JD is going to be there with me to make any important decisions (like what channels we want..) My other flatmate doesnt get a say in the choice becuase she is in New York. HAHA! Weirdly, she’s the one that wants all the sport channels, for her motor racing obsession. Me and JD on the otherhand are demanding E4, Sky One, UKLiving, UKStyle etc. Bring on the low-brow viewing-fest!

The Broadband will be good too – no more 20 minute walks just to log on to my email/opendiary/science journals.

I was kind of bad at the weekend and didnt get any work done for my course, but in my defence the printer network wasnt working, and I couldnt use my flatmates computer cause she is the one in New York. Instead I bought some classic videogames and played them until 2am. Im here now though, so as soon as I am done I wil print off lots of journals about Leprosy. Its also not due in until Friday and its only 2500 words. Have I justified my in-activity yet?! 😉

Must go now, papers to read, beer to be drunk…
