Good bye to the neo-plantation

I put the notice in at the end of my shift last night. It was hard to right the notice. I kept thinking if this is something I really should be doing or should i stay. Does God have something bigger in store if I stayed or if I left? I was going to turn it in before I got started with work. But my boss asked me to start right away.

So I gave it to him on my way out. He kept a straight face, so i couldn’t read him. He said, "Oh really?" to the note that read "Due to employment opportunities elsewhere, I will not be able to work at UPS beyond November 28,2008." And he suggested we talk about it today.

But ihave mixed emotions about it.  I think in the long run, my decision is the best. I am glad though that I waited until the end of the shift because it was a better night than friday night was. So I was able to hand in the notice on a good night instead of basing it soley off the fact that i was pissed with how Friday went.

We’ll see how it goes. November 28,2008 is this Friday. and I don’t have to work Thursday or Friday because of the Holiday. So that means tomorrow is my last day.
