Stepping into the action and movement.
My first thing I’m going to try to take care of is my blood pressure. It’s high, pretty damn high according to my doctor a while back. Also I’ve been experiencing a sort of pain in my eyes when I’m active or exercising that (upon talking with an older friend who referred me to some places to look) turns out to be, almost definately, intraocular pressure. Intraocular pressure has a very very strong correlation to glaucoma (which is sight loss because of damage to nerve tissue). It’s already pretty certain that I’m going to eventually be going blind…I shouldn’t push it. I can use my sight as a really strong tool; shouldn’t be in a rush to lose it. Oh, I didn’t mention this but high blood pressure is correlated with high intraocular pressure. It needs to be dealt with.
Therefore I’m going to deal with my blood pressure by going on a water fast. I’m going to go out and buy veggies and some fruit soon for a prefast after New Years. I’m not going to start now because I’m going to be going out for New Years and chances are I’ll have a shot at good food so I’m gonna take it. Who-ha! A day or two after that, though, it’s prefast time. Going to prefast for 2-3 days eating just the veggies and food. Then I’m going on a water fast for a week or two. I’m not sure on the days at this point. I’ll figure it out though. I’m going to pick a number higher than 6 but less than 15 that has some sort of special significance. It’ll come to me. And it’s always good to do things that have special significance. After all, why not use non-essential things to help you remind you of the things that matter to you most? That seems logical to me. Keeping the things that mean the most to you in your daily life is a very positive thing.
And that’s my current plan so far. I should probably eat that last piece of pizza so it doesn’t go bad today. My last day of enjoying the ‘za for a while, heh. It’s all good though. Tis the first step.
