A Wedding In The Works

Okay so in the time that I have been gone from OD, I’ve had time to think about and finally decide upon a date for the Wedding. (Thank you SB for the reminder! LOL)
Anyways. Colin and I have decided upon July 26th 2008.
We plan to go back to BC and have it held at my parents place. They’ve been working so hard buiding their place and the property up to it’s full potential.
Colours. Decided! We plan to go with a Dark-Foresty Green and as Colin so verbosly(sp?) put it " you know how little kids pick a colour to colour in the sun? That kind of bright yellow". I couldn’t stop laughing when he said that! 
My dress, my mom has offered to make, as well as my bridesmaid’s and fower girls. I have two flower girls, they are my bridesmaid’s daughters.
My mom already has a platoon of volunteers to help with things at home from making food to decorating. It’s like the party of the centrury for my family. My parents guest list alone has about 40 people on it. I figure we won’t have more than 100-150 people attending. I thought that was a big number but my mom assures me it’s actually quite small.
With my mom helping with my dress I now have to start sending her pictrues of what I like. I told her I want it to look a little medieval-ish. I plan for my hair to be down and to have a laurel or wreath type crown with flowers or something in my hair.
I think the biggest hurdle for me right now is getting my guest list in order. I think I’ve been though my list numerous times  and have cross-off or re-added people. It’s hard to choose. I never know who I’m obligated to invite, or who will be offeneded if I don’t invite them. I know I should just invite who I want but I still think about these things.
