Friends
This situation with Gina has clearly revealed the need for me to make real friends in Austin. I of course have many friendly acquaintances, and even people I routinely hang out with, but there’s no one locally who I would feel comfortable calling up and venting to. (Online folks, this is why you’ve born the brunt of this. Sorry. Really.)
In particular, I’ve made zero Christian friends.
So, I’m going to try to do that.
You can do it! It’s hard to make friends for some people… like me. If I make new friends it’s usually because I met them through someone else. You go to that Bible Study group sometimes, right? Maybe some of those people aren’t as socialite elitist as they sound.

RYN: Oh, oh! So the people at your BS you could be friends with more easily. And thank you!
