Brian May

Brian May was the guitarist for the rock band Queen. Slashdot has a story about him this morning. He’s nearing completion of his doctorate in astrophysics.

One commenter pointed out that the song ’39, which is one of my favorites, is actually about time dilation. This is a real phenomena, but it’s also fertile soil for many a sci-fi novel. Here’s the link, complete with lyrics.
