exciting!

Big day at our house! Miss Avery had her first taste of food via a spoon! Mama mixed up some baby oatmeal made with mama milk.. and she seemed to like it ok! 

Sadly, she didn’t make any funny faces, or get upset.  She just kinda sucked on the spoon and swallowed, very anti-climatic! Haha.

Cooper insisted on helping, he did a pretty good job too.

Generally, I would rather give a veggie first… So, I might wait a couple of days and give some squash or avocado.  Coop had avocado as his first food, followed shortly after with homemade oatmeal.  Sorry, second child– if I had more time I would make yours too.

So, that is our BIG NEWS! 😛
