Brandon’s grandma has been in the hospital since September..

It’s a long confused story, because we are only ever given half the information.. But she hasn’t been able to swallow properly for a long time.. She has a tumor– between the esophagus/stomach and they have been ballooning the esophagus to try to remedy the situation. The initial diagnosis was that the tumor was not cancerous.. Well two weeks ago they opened her up because they couldn’t "fix" the swallowing problem with the inflated balloon..

The tumor specimen that they took came back as cancerous and today they told her she has "til the end of the month" to live

She is only 68 years old….

The weather is horrendous here -2 feet of snow, roads that are sheets of ice, but we are going to try to see her again tomorrow.. she is in a hospital 45 minutes away..

It just.. sucks..

So please pray for her.. for our family.. This is going to be so hard.. I hope she can make it til Christmas..
