Ya Know, You’re Right….

Ok, I’ve finally come to a conclusion.  I am not the brightest person in the world.  Of course I already knew this but the point I am trying to make here is that quite frankly I am no good at debating, mostly because I have no real interest in actually taking the time to research particular topics of interest.  For example, evolution.  We all know my opinion on eveolution.  We all know that my opinion is a rather narrow minded one and it’s likely to never change.  We all know that my opinion on this is almost completely based on my religion and what I was taught growing up by my parents and my baptist preacher grandpa.  We all know that my real opinion on evolution is not what most would consider an educated one.  But ya know what?  I admit that, and quite frankly I don’t give a shit.  My opinions are my opinions and they will more then likely never change.  Yes I will on occassion write an entry about some political topic or a religious topic or maybe even a scientific topic and I will blurt out random thoughts from my small uneducated brain because I honestly believe everything I say.  But ya know what?  Oh well.  If my opinions are based on religion or just the way I was raised then let it be and stop, I mean really stop trying so hard to change them.  Because no matter how much smarter then me you might be you’ll never be smart enough or convincing enough to change my ways of thinking.  So just shut the fuck up and give it up.  I’ve admitted my defeat, you win, you really, really win, well in the way of proving that your scientifically more educated then I am, but that about it.  But hey that’s something right…?
