UGH Winter

UGH when did it become winter?!?!?!?? Sheesh. I am not ready for this cold yet.

It is going to be a bad year with the arthritis I can tell already, add that to the no heat thing and YIKES I am gonna be one sore puppy for the next 4 or 5 months or however long this counfounded season lasts in Chicago this year.

Ah well. I got my first weeks check from work W00t! I feel rich. It has been so long since I made this kind of $ that I had to look at it a few times to make sure it was right LOL

Now I just need to wait for the bank to clear the check (usually they hold for 3 days) so I can get some groceries. I might wait a lil longer than that actually as the rent check and about another $100 in checks are due to clear and my pay was about $200 less than the rent anyway. I am hoping they will not bounce any of them and that the company I work for will have my direct deposit in place because then the next check will be in the bank by this Thursday. That will be VERY nice!

I did talk to the bank, I advised them of what is coming in and asked if they could not bounce them as I am prepared to have the fees taken out for the checks they cover in the next pay period. Hopefully they will not bounce them. That is SUCH a hassle. I hadda do what I hadda do though *shrug*

Anyway, things are going really well for me (and I am remembering to thank God every day for it) so hopefully soon I will have the energy to get back here more often and actually feel like saying something 😀
