[Day 1] A new start to a new me.
Back on track and ready to succeed. This year I am going to run a 5k. I remember how I wanted to last year and just never took up running seriously. Im going curving tomorrow and actually training someone else to run with me. I got a runners guide for beginners and im starting off fresh. It makes me so happy to know that im going to be just like i was last year.
My New Years Rules & Regulations:
1. More water
2. No Carbonated Drinks (still)
3. Run 3x per week
4. Curves for strength training
5. Not give up!!
I bought 2 books today which really inspired me. I am in the process of reading them right now. I bought the 8 minutes Jorge Cruise book about lean hips and thin thighs (because thats my problem spots) and also the walk away the pounds book, even though im starting running on my days off they say to walk lightly.

Actually I am not on the right day. I am doing monday on tuesday and so forth. I am going to make time for this and my friend wants to take up running also. Even if she ditches me and doesnt continue to do it, i am going too. I want that soccer player body back that i use to fit so well in. Also I really need to change my eating habits. Eat more lean meats, proteins, fruits and veggies. Especially if i am training to run a 5K.
My Goals For Tomorrow (or should i say today):
Do my run
Curves
75 oz of water
No eating after 8PM
I have learned to take it one day at a time. Im going to read my 8 minutes a day to lose inches in hips and thighs. I thumbed through it and it looked like it was mainly stretches and such. Its guaranteed to help you lose 4 inches in 4 weeks or money back. So what do i really have to lose other than inches? lol. I am really excited! I cant wait to start this up. Its about time=)
When school starts back (Jan 12) during my breaks i think i am going to go run at the track since im already goingto be there. My ipod is going to come in friggin handy. The only that sucks though is i really wanted to nike plus program for my iPOD but its only for the nano..BOOO!! They havent made the software available for the 30gig video ipod. Anyway. Hope everyone the best. I am going to take pics of myself in my sports bra and stuff so then i can compare and contrast=) ALL THE BEST!!!!
I am going to update my weight once a week i think and am not going to weight myself everyday because thats compulsive..i may even do it just once month. Hmm. ANYWAY! Updating tomorrow=)

Last year about this time I was on bed rest for two months and had back surgery. I was already over weight but bed rest didnt help. By the time I was done I weighed 198. I’m down to 150 now! I mostly calorie counted, changed my eating habits, excercized. I don’t run cause it’s hard on the back..I elipicatl instead. I did a lot of physical thearpy and core training also. All about the lifestyle!
