A very Steffi, Nell and Ktb weekend…

This weekend has been SO great. I know I haven’t posted in a long time, buuut… I don’t care. So there. Anyway. Stephanie and Noelle just got on the road to head back to Noblesville so they can finish up some last minute things before they go their separate ways, back to Valpo and Purdue. I know it hasn’t really sunk in yet, but I know I’m going to end up crying so hard tonight. I missed them SO much. I miss all of my friends and before this weekend and maybe the week or so before it, I’m not sure I realized how much I was craving to be near them. They make any place, no matter what or where it is, feel like home to me. They make me feel like I belong more than anyone else could.

Last night, driving home from the college mall, it almost felt like we were back in Noblesville. The four of us packed into Stephanie’s car, driving through all of these endless residential streets and listening to these mix CDs that Matt made…. it felt so much like we were at home, together, over the summer or something. It was a good feeling.

I don’t know how I’m going to deal with the rest of this month and November. I can’t wait to see them again.

We played Trivial Pursuit: The 90s. Stephanie and I WON! Ha. Ahem. We also played Pretty Pretty Princess (one of Alex’s birthday gifts from Steffi and Noelle), which Stephanie won and I came in second, Alex in third and Noelle in last. Ahahaha. Stephanie and I watched her tape of Canada vs. Finland, the last hockey game before the lockout. I wish she would have had her Canada vs. USA tape, because WOW, great game…. but Canada/Finland was also awesome. 😀 It felt really good sitting with Stephanie and just…. watching hockey again. I think we’re both going through a little bit of withdraw. Not just from hockey, but from hanging out with each other. Mmmm… also, all of us plus Tali (from down the hall — she’s awesome) ordered pizza and breadsticks from Mad Mushroom. SO good. I was starved since by the time we got home from the mall, the dining area was closed.

Oh! Speaking of. So Ktb was supposed to call us when she was getting ready to head over to Collins after hanging out with her grandma, right? So we’re at the mall, in Target (YEAH! A Target in the mall, yo. It rocks.), and she calls to tell us she’s AT Collins. Ahahaha. We all felt really bad, so we had to rush out of there to get back. I missed Ktb. <3 I’m glad she doesn’t hate me. And I don’t know why she would have, but sometimes I get randomly paranoid like that. Ahem. She also brought with her a girl named Tiffany, who was pretty cool…. though I think we might’ve scared her at some points. xD Which I almost feel bad for. Muwhahahahahaha.

In short? This weekend has been absolutely AMAZING. Just being with my friends again has been wonderful. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving.

Seven days until nanowrimo and I STILL don’t have any ideas for my story. But oh well! I’ll think of something eventually, I’m sure. Or I won’t. I’m not worried about it.

My parents sent me a package. 😀 I got it in the mail yesterday, which made my weekend that much better. 😀 😀 😀 As if it wasn’t rocking enough, yanno? It was basically a “Good job not stucking at school!” type of congratulations/reward package. It was really nice. 😀 It had a bunch of food and stuff in it. Mmmmm. Like goldfish. And cookies. Mmmm. I hope my parents call soon, so I can tell them how much they rock like whoa.

OH. OH. Ahahahahaha. Speaking of gifts, too…. Steffi got me one, as did her brother, Matt. I guess they really miss me. They want to have a xbox hockey tournament over Thanksgiving break. >D I am so figuring out some way to win, even though I have never played the game before. Ahem. But yeah. Steffi got me…. well, every kind of kool-aid they sold at Meijer. *bursts through wall* OOOOH YEAAAAAAHHH!! Ahahaha. Mostly an inside joke thing related ro our story, but…. still funny. So there, hehe. And Matt got me one of those little reward ribbons from the dollar store that says ‘Special Helper’ — it’s really great. I have it hanging from my monitor.

Okay, well I should probably try to do something somewhat productive. Like homework. Bah. I have an essay to write for Thursday that’s most of my grade for my Visions: A History of the Future class. Gag me. I should probably go work on that…. and my French. And my reading for my other classes. And study for my psych test on Tuesday. Ahem. Going now.

(p.s. this was written a few days ago, obviously.)
