Lots of things in the works

First off: Happy Anniversary to my parents. 🙂 I’m sad they have to spend it apart again this year but I know they love each other and that’s what counts. 🙂

There are many things in the works right now and I have a very full September and October to look forward to and that’s a great thing! 🙂 I think I’ll semi-bullet this to try to keep myself from rambling. 🙂

~First up: CPST course! Starts this week! SO excited about this! 🙂 I’ve been having really weird quasi-“back-to-school” dreams about it though. You know the ones: Something very odd or embarrassing happens on that first day back in your dream? I’ve had 2 in the last week. Weird.

~We can’t go to the Air Force Ball this year due to my course being on the same day and that made me sad. But we discovered that since Hubby works under the Navy command here that we can go to the Navy Ball in October! Plus the Navy Ball offers free childcare! Woot. 🙂

~I have a physical finally scheduled for the end of the month. I’ll tell them my therapist wants my thyroid checked and hopefully I’ll be able to get that done before….

~We possibly start trying for bebeh #2 in October! At least that’s the plan for now. 🙂 We’ll see how it all goes down when we get there! 🙂 And SHHHHHHH! It’s a secret! 😉

~We’re planning a Promotion Party for Hubby! 🙂 Very excited about this. I’m planning on getting a banner and decorating the whole house and everything. 🙂 And we already have a bunch of people who said they’re coming for sure!

~We need a patio set but can’t find one anywhere that isn’t super expensive or super ugly. Plus most places don’t have many left in stock since they’re “seasonal” here (really? That’s the dumbest thing EVER!) and craigslist has been a bust. I might just pull out my folding table that I use for sewing/crafting in the laundry room and get some cheap chairs and use that for the party. Save up some money for when they start selling patio sets again. We’ll see.

~Formal bowling! How could I forget that we’re doing this!? My friend decided that since we all have these expensive bridesmaid dresses that we pay a boatload for and then wear only once we should get to wear them again! So we’re going to don our formal gowns and go bowling and then to karaoke! 🙂 I’m so excited about this I could piddle. 🙂 It’s going to be so much fun! 🙂 I’m so glad that I’ve already found someone here that I can call a friend and who I think I’m really going to be good friends with. 🙂

So lots of things to look forward to in the next month and a half! 🙂 And that’s a wonderful thing. 🙂
