Deep in the woods
It was an interesting weekend I might say. Fun…..and interesting. I went away to Rockwood with a new friend of mine. I met her through a friend at work, Kim, who thought we might be good together. She said we had a lot in common. Her name is Heidi. We first met up at the Olive Garden and had a great conversation. We were there for 4 hours talking about nothing. It seemed as though I started to have a thing for her. Well….after spending the weekend with her I’m not so sure anymore. She seemed to be different from whenI first met her. She’s whiney….and moody. Her best friend Nancy does everything for her it seems, and if she doesn’t do it right, she gets pissy. They’ve been friends for 20 years, so they have a mother daughter like relationship…..but it’s a little overboard if you ask me. Anyways…..She told me she just wanted to be friends anyways, which is kind of a relief, yet kind of shitty at the same time. It sucks being rejected, even by someone you don’t want to be with. Aside from all of that, we had a pretty fun weekend. We stayed in a cute and cozy cabin on the lake. She rented me a snowmobile to ride all day. We went to Pittston Farm. A place where all the snowmobilers meet up and eat, gas up, and continue on thier way. I didn’t have to pay for anything the 4 days I was there. Heidi and Nancy paid for everything. They wouldn’t let me pay. They even bought me $200 worth of riding gear because they didn’t think I would be warm enough with what I had. I was pretty shocked. They must be loaded or something, because they were spending money left and right like they didn’t even care. Must be nice, that’s all I can say. The first night, Heidi and I were alone and we had fun together. We went out on the lake at night and smoke some weed. We were laughing like there was no tomorrow. Once Nancy arrived the next day, it was like she started to act childish, and her mood started changing and so did mine. I don’t know, maybe I will learn more about her later on, but as of now I find her a bit confusing. Overall, it was pretty fun, and I got to experience something new. Now back to the real world……which is fine, seeming I was about to go crazy with no cell phone service!!
Oh! And my car made it all the way to Mexico Maine and back without blowing up. Yahoo!
