Hmmmmmmmm

Bonjour kids!

Man, it feels like years since I’ve written, but I guess it’s only been like 2 weeks, if that?  I haven’t really had much to report, and I hate writing really boring, nothing entries.  I guess I can make my life seem more interesting that way?  Maybe not, if you notice the large gap between things of note happening haha…

So, that being said, I really don’t have anything earth-shattering to share.  I’ve enlisted the help of Ryan (co-worker, occasional party pal) in sussing out whether I have a shot with Tamara or not.  I asked him to be discreet about it, cuz I don’t want it getting around work, cuz that could make for some awkward times…not to mention what might happen if the higher-ups found out.  Though I don’t think anything could be done to me really, cuz I haven’t acted on it…yet.   So anyway, I went to work today, and Ryan came by my cash on his way over to the bakery, and he looked sort of excited.  I was like "Alright…break it to me gently."  And he’s like "No, nothing like that…this might actually be good…" but then I had a customer, so we had to cut our conversation short.  Damn!  So after work, I stopped by the bakery department, and asked to have a word with him for a minute.  He comes out and is like "Okay, I’ve started my detective work.." and I’m like "Yes, yes and?  What did she say?  What did YOU say exactly?" And he’s like "Well actually…I haven’t talked to her yet."  "What??"  "Yeah, I have *other* sources…"  "Oh no, who did you tell?  Ohh dammit Ryan…" and he’s like "No, no it’s okay!  I figured the best source would be her ex…so I talked to Nick."  In my head I was like "shitshitshit", but I said "And what did he have to say?  I really would have preferred him NOT knowing…" and Ryan was like "Nah, it’s cool, he won’t say anything.  Cuz he knows the repercussions if he does…" and I’m like "What you’re blackmailing him?" and he’s like "Yeah, let’s just say I know quite a few things about him that he wouldn’t necessarily want his mom knowing…like the amount of drugs he does, and sex he has with Breanna."

"Ahhhh….I see how that might keep him quiet."
"Yeah, so he’s not gonna say anything if he knows what’s good for him.  Anyway!"
"Yes, what did you find out??"
"Well…he said that she definitely…(and here, he did a hilarious hand gesture that I can’t even begin to describe, but suffice to say, it was funny) swings both ways.  And when I asked him what she would think about you liking her, he said she wouldn’t mind, but didn’t know if it would be mutual or whatever."
So I said, "Huh.  Well that’s encouraging I guess…but I’m still kinda where I was before, aren’t I?"
And he’s like "Yeah, but at least you know that she COULD be into you…"  Which is true.  So, Tamara and Ryan are both working tomorrow night; hopefully he’ll get a chance to chat to her a bit and do a little more sleuthing haha.  I’m in at 10, so I’ll see her as she’s leaving.  If she jumps into my arms and kisses me, I’ll know Ryan’s talked to her.  If not…well, it might still be possible that he’s talked to her, but maybe she’s just shy

So yeah….we shall see!
