another one bites the dust

so, i just got back from another audition.  sure enough, i didnt’ get it.  oh well.

all my auditions are done, and i still haven’t heard from one of them, so… that’s really the only thing i have going for me for next summer.  i told a favorite earlier that i didn’t feel i was going to get this one either.  she said i was being negative.  but i don’t think so.  i told her that i felt i wasn’t going to get it more because i wasn’t ready, and it wasn’t my time yet.  and i mean that actually.

we’ll see.

i have an ear infection.  after $115 at the urgent care, and 15 minutes of washing out my ear (i’ve never had impacted wax before) the doctor told me i had an ear infection… which is what i told her when she walked in the exam room. lol

i’ve had so many ear infections in my life that i’m usually very aware of the symptoms that come along with it.  saturday morning i got up and checked my temperature, 99.4.  usually not that big of a deal… but when your temp is usually 96.7-97.1… a 99 temp is bad.  so yeah.  ear infection.

everyone thought i had a cold and didn’t want to get near me… but when i got back from the the urgent care and laughed at them all for being worried, i promptly coughed on them all.

if you couldn’t tell i’m a little loopy at the moment, and i’m not sure why.  (no i didn’t cough on them)  i’m actually gonna go lay down me thinks.

yeah 99 is when I get worried. i’m the same way, with a 96.7 – 97.2 average. i had a 99.8 fever a few weeks ago and new it even before i put the thermometer in my mouth. If i stick out my tongue and the underside feels hot on my bottom lip, I know i have a fever. if it just feels “normal” i’m fine. I feel the same way you do in reference to the “i’m not gonna get it” thing because I’ve sent so many people my resume and have not heard anything back. pretty damn depressing and discouraging to say the least. ~♥~

I had so many ear infections growing up that I now have a phobia about people going anywhere near my ears. It’s pathetic, really, but I can’t help myself. I once had my ear drum swell shut and had to have hot wick poured into it to open it up. Not sure how they came up with that but it worked. Hurt like hell but it worked. I hope you start to feel better. Sorry about the audition. *hugs*

Awww …. your even funny when you aren’t feeling well! *hugs* I hope you feel better soon! Reminds me of some years back…. my husband was getting really dizzy all the time. His balance was really off. He went to doctor after doctor after doctor and no one could figure it out. Then we came down to Florida to visit my mom and went to the beach. He was standing in the ocean, when a big wave slammed into him. Something big dropped out of his ear and when he looked down, it was a huge chunk of earwax. *gag* Hes been fine ever since! Damn doctors.

aww hope you feel better soon…Ear-aches are some of the most horrific pain ever. I once had a blood clot in my ear and it was soo bad I couldn’t even move and had to be carried to the car and into the doctor’s office. I’ll never forget that hell. Good luck on the auditions you’re waiting on, I know something will come about. I’m sending warm thoughts your way =)
