a plethora of surveys

i’m not sure how many surveys i’m gonna post, but it might be a few. lol  i’m really bored and my voice is too tired to sing anymore.  (4 hours is more than i should do at one sitting… my bad)

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?  actually, neither are very difficult… although if i had to pick one it would be the former (telling them how i feel).

2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY you were angry? Do you still feel the same way? If not WHAT CHANGED to make you feel differently? when i found out that my ex had lied to me about where she was going (we had just broken up and i was in crazy psycho ex bf stage…  will never do THAT again.)

3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you say to them?  whoa… um… i have no idea.  maybe my parents.  i have no one else to call right now.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? i think i would tell my parents, sister and my grandma.  but no one else.  i wouldn’t want my friends to feel different about me.  i would probably just try to enjoy the time i had.  i’ve done just about everything i’ve ever wanted to do with my life, so i figure if i go now, the things that are left on my list aren’t that big a deal.

5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why?
a. $2000
b. no more worries.

hmmm…  $2000.  i need it for bills. lol

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?  yes.  i can always find another job.

7. You are unfaithful to your spouse/significant other. Do you tell him/her? Why or Why not?  its weird… i’ve been in this situation, and even though i feel differently about it now, i only told her partly what happened.  i couldn’t make myself tell her everything that had happened.  that probably makes me a bad person.

8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more then just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you ( or did you ) do/say?  i’ve always been the one confessing.  (well, once…)  so i’m not sure what i’d say.  i think i’d be very flattered, and i’d probably even consider dating them.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not? in a heart beat.  i don’t need a reason.

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend? yes

11. Does love = sex? sex = love? no… i think of it more along the lines of "a square is always a rectangle, but a rectangle isn’t always a square."

12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?  hmm… this is a stupid question.  but, seeing as i’m answering the others, i’ll answer this one too.  yes, i probably would.  (chalk it up to wanderlust)

13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it?  probably about a year ago, Marta

14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a friend, you love them or that you do not love them back? well… as i’ve never had to do the latter, i’m going to say it would be the harder…

15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose? my friends…

16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?  Maija, my girlfriend at the time.

my sister mentioned something funny to me.  in every one of these surveys there’s always one question missing.

18. Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?   gee.  no one i guess.  if the person outside meant me harm, i wouldn’t want someone else there to get hurt.

19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not? yes… do i need a reason?

and where is 20,21 and 22?  this is getting rediculous.

23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?  most of my life?  lol

24. Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?  true love… everytime.

21. You are holding onto your grandmothers hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision? wow… what a shitty question.  i don’t see why i can’t fling the new born up over the edge then take both hands to hoist up my grandma.

1. Honestly, what color are your underwear?  i think i’m wearing green ones today

2. Honestly, what’s on your mind right now?  trying to think of how to get my bills all paid when my next check doesn’t come until the 17th.

3. Honestly, what are you doing right now?  filling out surveys and hoping my friend calls.

4. Honestly, what did you do today?  had a lesson, then came home and worked on my computer.

5. Honestly, do you think you are attractive?  yes and no.  there are parts of me that i really like.  my shoulders and arms, my face (sometimes) and my calves.  but everything else needs some work (no, not plastic surgery).

6. Honestly, have you done something bad today?  um… i don’t think so…

7. Honestly have you watched cable? not today…

8. Honestly, are you jealous of someone right now?  yeah… 

9. Honestly, what makes you happy most of the time? singing really beautiful music

10. Honestly, do you bite your nails?  i never have… i always sucked my thumb, slightly more embarassing.

12. Honestly, have you had an eating disorder?  no.  i know what its like to starve, i don’t think i could ever MAKE myself do it.

1. What do you do when you’re mad?  i used to listen to jazz when i was angry.  i haven’t done that in a long time.

4. Are you one of those people that think they are ugly, dumb, and fat?  well… the first two i don’t think so.  i’m not ugly (per se) and certainly not dumb (well, maybe a little).  but fat, yes.  lol
