SINGING HIGH C’s AT 10AM IS NOT FUN…

although… even though it was 10am, i thought i sounded pretty fuckin’ good.  not the best i’ve ever sounded i’m sure, but definitely better than Wolftrap 3 weeks ago.

so, i’m in the home stretch of my stay here on the east coast.  i’m excited to get home.  don’t get me wrong, i like it here and all… especially because i have good friends nearby.  however, it seems that being away from home for so long warrants homesickness, and homesickness is no fun… 🙁

oh well.

in other news, lets see.  i sang well this morning.  felt really good… lets see.  what else.

i’ve got nothing.  i’m really really excited to see La bohéme tonight.  at the Met of all places.  i’ve never been there and i have never seen this opera (which is pathetic because this will be one of my bread & butter roles in the future.  near future if i get this job at Academy of the West.

i’m really excited at the possibility of getting either of these jobs (Aspen or AotW).  i don’t know if i mentioned this before, but my dad and i have talked about it and what will probably happen is that i am going to ride my motorcycle to the place, that way i have a vehicle in those areas.  also good gas mileage (not to mention the mileage itself is tax deductable).  so yeah…

AotW is in Santa Barbara by the way…

so, anyway, i need to pack up my shit and get out of this hotel (before they charge me).  then i’m going to go back up to the audition place and see if i made it to the callbacks later today.

we’ll see what happens.
