ah ha!

so, i have a little story to tell.  i can’t remember if i told you about my barista.  (ha… i call her my barista… lol)

so, there is a coffee cart at my work…  and there is a very beautiful woman that works there.  well about 2 weeks ago my co-worker and i went on break to get some coffee and decided to go to the coffee cart instead of the deli.  so we didn’t get to chat long because a line formed.

well, as i was leaving work, i decided to go ask her name.  so i walked right up to the cart and put my arms on the little platform and smiled at her.

"what can i get ya?"

actually, i’m not here for the coffee

"oh…" *slightly disappointed face*

yeah… i’m here cause i wanted to know your name.

*taken aback, then sheepish grin crossed her face* "um… its… jenny." *big smile*

good to meet you jenny.  i’m noah.  *shake hands*

after shaking hands we spoke for a few minutes and finally a customer came to get coffee.  so i took my leave and said, "well… i’ll see ya around"

"yes you will." *big smile*

well, i hadn’t seen her in a few weeks but she was there sunday.  so we talked for a bit.  and she was there again today.  so we’re going to go see an opera together.  it’d be nice to go on a real date for once.

one thing though.  and i’m almost positive she was testing me.  she has a daughter… which isn’t bad in the slightest.  but she was definately testing me when she told me about taking her to school.

anyway, i’m excited.  *smiles*
