Great night.

Dusty was amazing. A tour de force for the leading lady.
Minimalist set worked for the story especially in Act 2, when Dusty hits rock bottom. The music from the pit was wonderful.
It was terrific to catch up with friends afterwards at the Gala supper.
Especially Dotti, Jenny and Owen.
I got home about 11.30, so wasn’t too bad.

The only downside was that I missed Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Which evidently went down exceedingly well. I am a sucker for royal weddings. I have just been looking at the pics online and Eugenie look gorgeous. I had to laugh when Robbie Williams daughter who was a flower girl asked Fergie (Sarah Ferguson) if she were the Queen. When Fergie said, “No”, the little poppet quipped “You’re a princess”, Kids always steal the show don’t they!

I am off the Bunyip today to see my kids and bring Katherine back. She has been staying there overnight.
