It Has Been A Busy Few Weeks…

It Has Been A Busy Few Weeks here as of late. My Dad is still in rehab and is "scooting well" over to his wheelchair and standing with max. assist between parallel bars. He has been very depressed lately and we have been encouraging alot. The prosthetic Docs came in today and stated his stump is still to swollen to start with measuring and shrinkers.  When we went in this morning he was also back on an I.V. because the Dr. thought he was getting dehydrated. Never mind that Mom and I hound him to drink to no avail. We just told him that he needed to listen and do what he was suppose to do if he wanted to come home soon.
My brother came in this past weekend with my Mom’s "new" car, well new to her. His Mother-in-law gave my mom her Ford Crown Victoria as a gift since she wanted a smaller car.  Her husband had needed a bigger car with his health problems and since he passed away the car was to big for her she said. My Mom has never had a car with electric everything. I am buying her Cavalier from her and I go back to manual windows, locks, etc which is a change for me…lol.
I am supposed to go in to the hospital on Thursday for another heart cath as I have been having chest pains for a few weeks. She wanted to do it last week and I told her to schedule it for this week as things were to hectic. She just told me ok but no mowing, lifting or ANYTHING strenuous.  So I have been doing pretty good. I thought I would hear from them today but didn’t so maybe they forgot since they were going out of town Thursday-Sunday for their anniversary. I will call tomorrow if I don’t hear from them. Kerry said he was taking off work that day if they did it.
Anyways I guess that is it for the news so far. Hugs to you all and thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers!
