A Rant and A Update….
I was so furious today when I went to Wal-Mart. I was in a good mood considering it was POURING again, we got 1 1/2 inches of rain in less than an hour. Anyways, I am writing in reference to the PURE LAZINESS of the community I live in. I am sure this goes for more communities but today it made me angry. In particularly Wal-Mart and Reasors patrons. It amazes me that the basket return can be 2 cars down from where people park and they are to LAZY to walk the basket to the return spot. I put up 6 baskets this morning so I could get a place to even park (In the rain no less). People talk about the obesity of the American public, well maybe they should walk 5 feet to the basket return and it might help just a little. It is so aggravating to TRY to pull into a parking place to find out it is full of baskets or even one basket so you can not park. Either stores need to put in baskets in which you put a quarter in so people WILL return them to get their quarter back or something. As it is people are to dang lazy to put up a basket! Not only is it inconvenient to the next person trying to park but it tends to leave dents in peoples’s cars. If you don’t care about your own car you drive BE CONSIDERATE of the next person. Come on lets think of someone else besides your own self for a change and be kind to the next person that wants to park where you were to lazy to put up your basket properly!
Well, I also wrote that to the newspaper "Letter To The Editor" but had some more things in it like the community name I live in etc. Oh well it probably won’t make a difference and some people will say it is only a quarter and leave their basket out in the lot anyways then some other lazy schmuck will push his basket into it and take the quarter…ughhhh LAZY PEOPLE!!!
Ok enough of that…Brandi (middle daughter) had to fly to Salt Lake today with her daughter to go to the Shriner’s Hospital. They finally made it LATE. She called the hospital from the waiting area because they had to be off-loaded because the guy driving the baggage cart ran into the plane somehow. Sheeeesh anyways accidents do happen I told her it would be ok. She finally got there and they are going to put Arianna’s legs in braces. She goes next Thursday I think it was to get fitted in Wyoming. They are also suppose to call her to setup another appointment for her to have another MRI of her spine. I asked if it would be in Salt Lake or somewhere else since they are suppose to be moving. She wasn’t sure when the appointment would be so that would determine whether it will be on the East Coast or not. Also she is getting Speech Therapy 2 times a week which I can’t see that it is helping much. I could understand 1/2 of what she said tonight. When she was here I could understand about all she said. I guess with her moving it got me out of practice. Ok so then she starts home from Salt Lake and she is flying from there to Denver then to Wyoming. Well the plane is delayed because they can’t fly into Denver because of storms. (No I don’t want them flying there if there is a chance of a crash) So now instead of 10:00 p.m. getting to Wyoming they will not arrive until midnight. I talked to Arianna again and she is so tired. The flight attendants though I must say have been AWESOME, they paid for Arianna to watch cartoons on the TV thing and are helping to entertain her. A tired cranky 4 year old flying is not pleasant for anyone, especially when you have been poked and prodded ALOT during the day….lol. So I will be thankful when they make it home safely.
Other than that not much is going on here I go to the docs tomorrow for lab work, my Dad went today. I am exhausted I didn’t get MY nap today….lol
Hugs to all. For those that are doing the Blog-A-Thon I wish you all the BEST!!!
What you call baskets are, I suppose, what we call shopping trolleys. People here actually aren’t too bad. Most of them seem to walk with them and put them in the proper place! I hope Arianna will be o.k. What a lovely name!
Warning Comment
I totally agree about the shopping carts.
