Still Alive…..
Well I am still alive I just haven’t had much to say lately. My car has been messed up for 3 weeks,,,ughhh. Took it in Monday to be worked on they said they would get to it Tuesday. Well they FINALLY got to it today and that will be "$300.00 buckaroos maam"…..but but but the part only cost $20.00!!!!!!!!! Well then when he called (because I had complained) he stated I needed new brake shoes for the back and that would be $143.00, I told him that my brakes WERE fine and all I had them do was rotate and balance my tires and NOW I have all these other SUPPOSED problems!!! Well the brake shoes with lifetime warranty are $16.99 for the PAIR! Then he calls back and tells me that my brakes are FINE but it is the rear wheel seal that is leaking and my brake shoes are fine!?!#$? I said fine but I had to pay for the other stuff first and that would have to wait. He stated the GRINDING metal to metal noise was probably just sand in between the brake shoe or something. Talk about frustrating NO WONDER I do NOT feel like writing in here.
Ughhhhhhhhhh
Anyways all of you have a GREAT weekend and love ya all
Melanie
Nice to hear from you again. I hope the problems with your daughter aren’t as bad!

it’s hard to find trustworthy mechanics. I’ve been lucky here so far, but know that there are many out there that are not so honest. Expecially when they are dealing with women.

I am so glad that my father-in-law is a mechanic. I’ve heard some awful stories about how much they can (and will) rip someone off. I’m glad you wrote! I need to make an entry, myself. Althohugh, I don’t have much to say, either.

:::shakes head::: it always seems like car repairs end up costing much more than expected. once i went in for a simple oil change and ended up having the transmission fluid changed, too. or something like that. anyway, cars are a necessary evil, i think. kind of like computers! š
