Hoping All Are Well

I am hoping all are well. Boy did October go fast, I am still super busy helping Mom re-do the bathroom. I told her I think the bathroom is cursed as everything we do has to be re-done at the least 5 times. Ughhhhhhhh. We are getting close to completion though, well closer than we were when we started….lol. We have torn out the old floor clear to the basement, taken out the OLD cast iron tub, the vanity and the stool. The new stool is in and moved to the other side of the room, the new vanity in, new light fixtures in, the new walk-in shower in, and a closet built, new ceiling in and 1/2 of all of it painted. We still have to knock out one wall going to her bedroom and put in a new door (for easy access to the bathroom at night), finish painting, put up the 2 closet doors, ceramic tile the floor and finish the painting. We finished up the last of the sheetrock on the walls this week. What a project this has been since the house is SO old everything has to be reworked. I will be glad when it is all done, I ordered the toilet safety frame yesterday which will help better than the walker for my Dad trying to get up. We had to re-pull the stool and put on ANOTHER wax ring as he rocked so much on the new one he busted the seal right off the bat. This one has been in for 2 weeks and is still tight so maybe it will be ok. I also pulled the stool upstairs and have to re-do the WHOLE flange and all clear down to the piping not just the seal as it obviously has been leaking and NO ONE knew it since it was leaking behind the old wall that was torn down for the re-modeled bathroom. Thankful that was seen before the new ceiling went up. I will get that done as well this week. SO now you see why I am so tired and just crash and not worry about bloop to much these days. It is 5:30 in the mroning so I was able to write this now…lol
Kerry is back he got back end of last week and he did NOT like his trip. This was real unusual, he thinks his whole mood change might be because of his Dad’s passing the end of September. He stated he just felt "blah" and uncaring about stuff…..sighhh. Not me but things like his job, trips and a few other things. Hoping this changes soon. Hugs to all and I guess I will go get ready to get to work
