Trying To Look On The Bright Side…

But it’s getting damn hard! Things just keep getting better and better. Note the sarcasm that is loaded into that sentence…

Went out to start my car Wednesday morning to take the girls to their last day at day care before they left for Florida for 2 weeks with Andy’s mom and dad. Didn’t start. Starter had to be replaced, so there went $126.99. Damn. Car runs now though!

The girls left Thursday morning with their grandparents to drive down to Florida for 2 weeks, returning on the 2nd of January. Miss them like crazy! Need the break though, definitely. With all the stress I got, I need the break, no matter how much I love them.

We’ve got snow up here. Suppose to get 5-9 inches today.

On my way home this morning, not 3 miles from home, and I go into the damn ditch. Don’t know if it can get pulled out by anything other than a tow truck. I called the towing company and got an estimate of how much it would cost me to get my car pulled out. Yeah, $150 that I don’t have right now.

I got a friend on his way to see if he can get it out. He’s just gonna look and see, and if he thinks he can, he’ll try. If not, he’s going to loan me the money to get my car out today. I ill be paying him back when I can. This blows. I hate this.

Granted, it could have been way worse. I just kinda slid right in, didn’t get hurt or wreck my car. There was a truck a few miles on another road that rolled and looked pretty bad.

But come on, 3 miles from home? WTF?! Rar. Hopefully he can get it out without getting stuck himself or damaging anything. Will update later, way pissed off. Need to cry.

Ugh, that really sucks. šŸ™ I hope your friend can get the car out easily. Hey, at least you have people there for you in times of need…there IS a bright side! Enjoy your break, hon.
