Sick Kids

Well, first of all, lemme say that my littlest porker now weighs 10 lbs 7.2 oz and is 22 inches long! Had her 1 month check-up this morning. Everything looks good, except she’s got an eye infection in her left eye (courtesy of Alexis) and has a bad cough. So… Alexis and Kayla are both on eye drops, 2 drops 4 times a day for a week, both on albuterol nebs every 4 hours until coughing subsides, and Kayla is on Prednisolone 1 tsp twice a day for 5 days. Wow, this should be fun *NOT*. But hopefully they will both be better soon, I hate it when my babies are sick.

As for me, I get to see the podiatrist next week directly after my 6-week check-up. For what, do you ask? Because on both of my feet, on the outside pads, they are very hard, dry, and calousy. They have been that way for a couple years, and it’s only gotten worse. I have tried pumice stones, lotions, etc… and nothing’s worked. So the podiatrist is going to take a Dremel tool and grind away most of the area down to where the normal skin is, which will probably hurt afterwards for a few days, but then I get to use an anti-fungal medication in case there is bacterial fungi and use a pumice stone and lotion again. HOPEFULLY this will work and get my feet back to normal, and if not, then I get to go BACK to the doctor and see the podiatrist again to find out what is wrong with my feet. *sigh* Wow, I have problems man…

Anywho… I gotta go, Kayla just finished making a nice "present" for me in her diaper and isn’t very happy about it. TTYL!
