Yesterday Jon and I went to the gun range. I really thought that I would be able to shoot, but when we got there I chickened out. It’s not that I am afraid of guns per say…it just takes me awhile to get used to the noise of shooting. Last time I went to the range…5 years ago…it took me like 3 times of going with Brian before I had the nerve to actually shoot. Then after that I was fine. So Jon thought I was bored and wasn’t having fun, but I really was. I watched him shoot and he was a pretty good shot. I promised him that next time we went I would shoot.
Afterwards we went and had dinner at Sarkura. We ate at the Sushi bar and it was yummy. I tried a Chesapeake Bay style sushi that had crab and was seasoned with Old Bay. It was yummy. Jon got me to try several different things that I never had before and they were all good. It’s nice to have a new friend who likes sushi because I love it but I don’t know anyone else who does.
We left Sarkura and came back up to the mall. We got some coffee, walked around the mall, and hung out just talking. He thought that I didn’t have a good time, but I told him that it was fun and I was glad that we went out and spent the day together. I have been spending so much time with my roommates lately that it is nice to go out with someone different. And we have a lot in common that we can talk about. Seriously I really did have fun. I tried to explain to him that I am an easy going person and I can find fun in just about anything. I don’t think he believed me, but we did talk about going out again sometime soon.
Tomorrow Mary and I have to go to Marley Station for job training. Which means we hav eto get up at o’dark thirty in the morning and I actually have to be at work on time. Silky said he’d hate to see me if I had to get a real job and actually be at work on time instead of 4 hours late all the time. LOL…yeah me too. But I am working on getting a real job. Michael and I talked about it on Saturday night on the way to St. Leonard to meet Randi for her bday celebration. He told me that I needed to get a real job and that I should try Bed, Bath and Beyond as a front end manager. He said that I am definitely qualified and told me what they look for. Yeah he tried to do the same thing when he worked for CVS and I didn’t get that job either. But I told him that I would go fill out an application, drop off my resume, and talk to someone. My landlord also gave me a list of several places that are hiring managers so I need to go check them out as well. Hopefully I will find something soon.
ugh, i hate looking for jobs. that’s probably why i’ve stayed at the one i have for almost 8 years. good luck!

Mmmm sushi… *grin* The first time Justin got me to shoot, I almost dropped the gun after I fired. It’s a weird sensation at first. Good luck with the job search. I need to find a real job that’s flexible enough that I can still take classes. FUN!
