The Letter N

THE GAME:  If you wanna play leave me a note and I’ll give you a letter.  Come up with 10 things that mean something to you with that letter.

10 Things With the Letter N

1.  Notes from Mikey
When I lived in Pittsburgh and Mikey would work the shift before me he would leave me little notes about all the things that he did and what I still needed to do, but he would always make them sweet or funny.  I still have every one of them even though it’s been almost 4 years.  Mikey was my best guy friend and those notes still mean alot to me.

2.  National Hockey League
Anyone who knows me can tell you that I am a huge hockey fan.  Even though the NHL has pissed me off in recent years, I am still loyal to my team and will continue to watch any NHL game that they show on tv…which isn’t very many these days. *sigh*

3.  Nick at Nite
I would not be able to fall asleep at night if it wasn’t for Nick at Nite.  I can’t fall asleep at night unless my tv is on Nickelodeon and I am watching classic tv shows.

4.  Notebooks
I can’t remember when I first started my notebooks, probably around 13 or 14 but I have 12 notebooks filled with doodles and words, and just anything that I felt like scribbling down.  Whatever thoughts crossed my head I wrote down, even if it was just incoherent ramblings.  Basically they are just a way for me to work out my frustrations.

5.  Nobuo Uematsu
Uematsu is the composer of the soundtracks for many of the Final Fantasy games.  The music for FF is phenomenal and I have the soundtracks for all the games.  This is my inspirational music.  I listen to it when I am in a creative mood, whether I am drawing, painting, writing, or scrapbooking this is the music that stirs my soul.

6.  Nephews
My 3 nephews Donald, Sean, and Xander mean the world to me.  I love them.

7.  Nuggets
Specifically Chick-Fil-A nuggets.  They are my main source of sustinance when I am working at the mall.  I love those things.  Yummy!

8.  New York Rangers
Okay so I am not a huge NYR fan, but last season I found myself following them throughout the year so I could talk shit with Mark.  Mark is my bestest friend and a huge NYR fan.  We had alot of arguments and debates about hockey and whose team was better, but in all honestly it actually brought us closer.  I can’t wait for hockey season to begin again.  I am going to love our Pens/Rangers fights.

9.  No Name Face
Lifehouse’s debut album…one I have listened to so many times that I actually wore it out and had to buy a new one.  This was the one cd that Ryan and I could both agree one and listen to over and over again.  This was the one cd that Jess and I both loved and would play over and over again singing along to every song and getting so emotionally into every song.  I think about them both whenever I hear any of the songs on the album and I am reminded of all the good times that I had with both of them.

10.  Names of my future children
For a boy Tristan Mark…I have loved the name Tristan since I first read the Arthurian legend of Tristan and Isolde.  I think I was about 12 or 13 and at that moment I knew that I would name my first son Tristan.  And obviously Mark is after my best friend Mark who means the world to me.  Although in the story of Tristan and Isolde there is a King Mark, but that’s not where I got the name.
My second son should I have one will be named Ryan David…those that know me know why I would choose the name Ryan…and David after my brother.  Two people who will always be dear to my heart.
As for a girl I have thought long and hard over a name.  It took me forever to find a name that I loved as much as my boys names…and finally I found one.  Ellone Raine…and I’ll give ya a cookie if you can tell me where the names came from.

Okay so I know that some of these were a stretch but it took me 2 days to think of 10 N things that mean something to me.  This was alot harder than I thought it would be.  Anyone else who wants to play just leave me a note and I’ll give ya a letter.

RYN: It cost me an extra $40 to get the pavillion seats but it was REALLY worth it. I had absolutely no trouble finding it at all. There were signs posted along the highway that made it so easy to find. BTW: Thanks for helping me get there so easily. ^_^
