Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse

Apparantly it wasn’t enough that I had already spent $402.35 fixing my car and that I was on my way to go spend another $300 to fix the rest. Yesterday on my way to take the my evil ghettobeater car to the mechanic, it stopped working before I could even turn off my street.

As soon as I started turning onto the main road I could feel the steering start to give out, so I hurried and made a u-turn into my work’s parking lot. As soon as I got it into the lot it refused to move. The drive shaft’s were completely broke. So I went inside and had Chuck, Marge, and Nancy comeout and help me push it out of the way of the entrace. Dom pulled up so I made him help too.

Then I had to call a tow truck to take it to the damn mechanics. That sucked, big time, cause not only did I have to pay to get it fixed I had to tip the tow truck driver. Yes you are supposed to tip tow truck drivers.

Stopped by Vic’s on my long walk home, to say hello and of course he had to have the new Hockey Beckett with Mario Lemieux on the cover displayed so I had to see it when I walked in. So there went money for that. I know what you’re probably thinking, that I didn’t have to buy it, but it’s Mario for crying out loud. I have every issue of Beckett, that has him on the cover. Mario is the man.

After I left Vic’s I made the long trek home. It wasn’t so bad except that I was sooooo thirsty I could hardly stand it. I never realized how lazy I have gotten since getting a car. In high school Jess and I walked every where. We used to walk that far every day, and here I was crying about having to walk so far.

Anyways I made it to work so I could buy a drink and Jimmy was there. I stood outside and talked to him for a few minutes. Talked to him about my car, and how Eddie had recommended West Pitt Tire. Jimmy said they were great, so not to worry. He asked me how my computer was working and I said great ever since he fixed it for me. I thanked him again and he said thanks for the brownies that I had made him.

Jimmy is such a sweetheart. He is one of my favorite cops. I miss him on midnights. I never work daylight so I never get to see him much anymore. I feel so bad for him cause none of the other guys in our circle of friends like him much. They get mad cause I am friends with him and I talk to him. But the way I see it just cause they don’t like him doesn’t mean that I have to dislike him.

I was so tired after working all night and spending all day trying to get my car fixed that I slept from 4 in the afternoon until about 3:30 this morning. I really needed that.

Well the hockey game is getting ready to start. Will write more about last night/early this morning, when the game is over. Let’s go Pens, we need this win.

see ya bye

*Update, I don’t want to give away too much here but as I am re-reading this entry I realize that even in Feb I had feelings for Jimmy, I just didn’t realize them until much later. Read on dear reader.*
