We got home wednesday night they lifted the evacuation tuesday morning. It was nice matt gor an extra $100 for coming back to work before friday and i think he also got paid time in a half. Thankfully the hurricane didn’t quite make it this far west. We saw the damage when we came through baton rouge and all. It was pretty bad but thankfully no where near what we got in Laurel when Katrina hit us. Things around town are starting to get back to normal as everyone gets back into town. We saw the funniest sign on burger king the other day. "you can only get your burger plain or all the way do to the lack of employees" We thought it was really funny since burger king is all about have it your way. The school opend back up thursday so i had the kids and matt only had one class cause his other teacher wasn’t able to make it back in town yet. It’s so nice to be back and to sleep in my own bed i think kayley was happy to be back in her own crib also. She didn’t sleep much when we were gone. She kept wakeing up in the middle of the night i think that was also partly cause she is starting to teeth. She slept all night wednesday night though and didn’t wake till 9 in the morning.
