In and out

 Why is it that wine always taste better when you drink in straight from the bottle?

I notice these things when I am not paying attention
i admire the perfect shape 
and smooth touch 
of the bottle
and smile inside when it reminds me of a woman
 
I can never decide if the dark color of the glass
is keeping the inside from out
 or the outside in.
 
because it storms around both
in and out
and it’s ruining everything
all the time
so we might as well enjoy it
we might as well 
hold that dark place between 
both 
in and out
and drink everything in
until we fall asleep in the now
and wake up again in the calm
and forget to still its beauty
in our mind
 
until we see the storm again….
