This is an update and most likely my last entry…

I have stumbled across many old friends in the past year, some from all the way back to HS and I like to use this as a way of telling folks what I have been doing for the past 10-15 years of my life… It contains a mini-bio but I haven’t written anything here for 3 but like I said, it’s like one of those mass Xmas letters you send out to those who don’t see you or stay that current in your daily living.

   So let me play catch-up…

After I left the "Cult" I moved to several "communities", secular and non-secular and finally my body gave up and so did my spirit which was searching for either a place to pay penance or nirvana or a nice mix of the two…

I have finally come back to the place of my birth where I started this journey and the military brat life took me on a whirlwind tour of the planet. All of my family is back here minus one brother who is "stuck" in Buffalo. I have been back for 3 years now, receive a modest disability pension from the VA (non-service connected bless their hearts) and have a great bachelors pad on the 9th floor of a great Apt building and pay $200.00 for a $900.00 apartment…THANK YOU HUD!!! And it just so happens to be 100 yards off the coolest Street in WI.

and I spend my time on this computer fighting mind control groups as a news blog editor and discussion board administrator  at  http://www.factnet.org/  and when I am not I am on the water 5 times a week as a volunteer Boat Capt.  http://www.mscr.org/Pontoon-Boat-Program.cfm

Now the winters drive me batty…not enough sunshine (SAD) (but I know own a SAD Lamp as a computer desk lamp…perfect!) and fresh air so I am thinking of snowbirding it this winter… Getting a Greyhound Pass(who have wifi on there buses now!) and seeing folks I havent seen for umpteen years and also some I have only known online for 5 years or more…

update:  I have found a cure for my winter blues…  I now volunteer several times a week as an usher of info booth attendant at the Overture Center here.  http://www.overturecenter.com/ It’s great fun, beautiful place(just 100 yards from my front door!)  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overture_Center and I get to see some fabulous shows. Their season slows way down for the summer just when the boats start to wind up! It’s perfect!  Life is good… 🙂
