Marco Polo

I am very, very excited about the coming month or so.

Last weekend I auditioned with Groton Regional Theater for their production of Marco Polo. I did the best I could, and I actually felt like I had maybe gotten some small role in the show.

I was called yesterday and was asked to play the lead female in the show.. Princess Kogatin.

Irene, the Stage Manager, also a friend from high school, told me that my opposite would be Pat Wall playing Marco Polo.

Pat Wall is also a friend from high school.. a really awesome boy, and a fabulous actor.

So this marks my very first lead role in the history of my work with theater. I’m very happy and eager to do a wonderful job.

I’m still in shock, I think.. thus this is a somewhat crappy entry.. but I don’t really care.
