Never old enough

Don’t you hate that? Your never old enough for anything. Children notice this sooner than adults. There will always be SOMEONE who will say “Well your only (fill in age)” I don’t know why I decided to write this… but it feels like a good topic now that I am at work right now, on duty, with no one here. Perhaps people in heart believe wisdom comes with age. I myself have found me telling 16 year olds that they are only 16, even though when I myself was 16 had already been kicked out of my house (actually before… I was gone for my 16th B-day) and I had gotten a job. I am the biggest epitome of wisdom NOT coming from age… and yet I still use that line. Why? Shouldn’t I preach what I teach? I told my friend on here…. Jaime… about a similar subject… she hates people staring but yet she stares. I want to know what you all think on this… and what things you do that you hate like me and Jaime. And maybe one day we will all be “not old enough” in our own minds.

hey *hugs* i dont see any reason on telling people advice, and honestly its like the ol’ saying “take ur own advice” but people just never do take their advice thats why jaime stares. and i value all the advice u tell me, and look up to u even tho ur only 21.. and im 16, thats what.. 5 years? prolly less w/ bdays.. i still look up to u for advice.. so thanks, and i think u have the right to..

Ps: i must confess tho.. i do get fustrated (SOMETIMES.. at SOME points) when people are like “your only 16.. do this and that… you cant do that and blah” because.. even though i am 16.. im sure i am capable of doing a better job at things then some if not even most adults… plus people tell me i can fit in with adults 😉

i know what you mean your either too young or your too old your never the right age to do the stuff that you want to do!!

Good subject. I think when you’re about 40-50 people will stop telling you that line cause then you’ve got the wisdom, and tried many things. But as you mentioned, lots of young people have lots of wisdom and experiences too. A thing I do that I hate, is instinctly thinking a beautiful girl is a bitch cause I’m jealous. They don’t deserve that, and they can be very nice. 🙂

hahah dont wry i have some stuff like that to, like cheerleards they piss me off! that dumb blondeness taht wear short skirts showing off spankies, yet i am one (but i wear shorts and got a bigger skirt so i wouldnt go so hihg :-D) and i always get im to young on stuff they are usally like “maybe when your not 12” when im 17 in a few lol. i totaly getcha both.
