Cleaning out the garage

Aloha…

When I got home from lunch today… I noticed a very foul smell in the garage… perhaps a dead mouse or ???

Determined to find and get rid of it… I started moving shelving around… nope… okay… move the ladders… nope… boxes of canned paint (you know… paint in cans)… nope… looked behind the washer and dryer with the same result…

Got out the leaf blower… blew stuff out of the garage…

Still a smell…

Oh wait… smacks self in head… opened the lid on the garbage can… yep…!

Guess I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed at times…

This photo is a mile up the beach from my home:

Aloha oe…

@kaliko   Nah… Nah… Nah…  I had wrapped fish tightly in plastic… and sort of forgot that I had put it in the garbage can… guess I didn’t wrap it tightly enough…. (sigh)

Phooey!  We had a dreadful smell in the basement last winter.  I nearly tore the place apart looking for a dead mouse.  I finally found the culprit after about 5 weeks of hunting- it was a dead red squirrel that had somehow got into the heating ducts!  That thing really stunk.
