I haven’t written for a month and a half and there’s so much happening.  My first graders are crazier than ever.  I’ve sought help and ideas on how to help them be better listeners.  The ideas seem to work, for the most part.

I’ve been sick with a nasty cold.  That’s what I get for wanting to teach school.  My little, germy first graders are probably the ones who got me sick–and Amy and Elaine have both been sick as well, which doesn’t help.

I should probably go and work on school stuff now.
