she chose me!

I haven’t written in a while.  I don’t have much to say except that my kidlets get more and more antsy every single day.  It’s all I can do to keep from going crazy!  But, I am excited for June because I get to go to Park City for two weeks and stay in a super nice hotel (according to my principal).  Diane asked me if I would help with faculty math training next year and I accepted.  I felt a little inadequate and unsure about that because the teachers who trained us this year were so great!  I am looking forward to see what’s next though because I did learn a lot from math training this year and I’ve seen such growth in my students that it makes me excited to learn  more about helping them enjoy math and not loathe it.  It will be a little intimidating training staff as only a 2nd year teacher, but I think I’ll like it alot!  It just makes me feel good that Diane chose ME of all the teachers to help train the faculty!  YIKES! What a huge responsibility.

So, I think it’s a for sure that we’re moving.  We’ve found a couple places with potential, but haven’t secured anything because our lease isn’t up until July.  We’ll see what happens!
