Robert can ROLL OVER!! and just got his mobile

Well, I have a moment to write, while Robert sleeps on his stomach (?!) in the crib behind me.  Right now he is waking a little and pressing his face into the mattress.  (great…)  I have realized that I need to just watch what he does and try to not intervene with his struggling and efforts to move around the way he wants to.  So I just watch and assist when it’s too much. 

OK, I assisted.  and now he’s awake.  But I just put on his mobile for the first time.  He is watching it now and kicking around.

I just took a short video of him trippin’ to the music and the spinning fish!!  HE LOVES IT!  Yay!!  and wait till he sees the light show on the ceiling tonight!!  He’s REALLY going to be into that cuz he LOVES lights!!

I’m listening to the music that comes with this mobile and the song I’m listening to right now is twinkle twinkle little star.  Which I also just realized is the ABC song as well…  (duh…)  very cool!

ok, i have him on my lap so i’m one-handed typing!  this is pretty slow going

OK.  Now I have him in his walker with some toys and he’s busy for the moment. 

Let’s see.  things that have been happening lately:

WORK: work is great, and I’m back in the swing of things.  My breaks are a bit different now that I’ve got to pump.  I have to be quick with set up and clean up and getting pumping and eating out of the way quickly.  *WHEW*  It’s work, but it’s cool.  I’m fine with it.  I know one RT (respiratory therapist) that I work with who HATES pumping and once counted how many times she still had left to pump.  (?!)  I don’t mind it so far.  I love bonding with Robert with breastfeeding.  I think I’m not looking forward to ending it.  HOWEVER, I do not want to have a kid that can ASK for the booby (by name) or anything like that!  I don’t know why, just my thing.  So I realize our breastfeeding time is short-lived.  He’s already approaching 4 months old!  But my job is the same as before only I have yet to be complained about!!  I may have underwent that CHANGE that my boss had told me about.  I think I may be friendlier and less bitchy!!  I am certainly more tolerant of people now!  I can tell that for sure.  Thank goodness!  I guess my personality needed a little softening.

COMPUTER ISSUES:  My desktop computer has been crashing and crashing for months.  Just freezing up for no reason (that I knew of!)  So I finally took it in for repair.  They said my windows program was no good.  So they reloaded it for me.  They also (hopefully) hooked me up with my DVD burner,

i also took in my laptop as the monitor keeps fading out.  they said it worked perfectly for them!!  but of course! 

better go… baby calls
