Our Day + Roy gets a Datsun Truck

The baby MAY be falling asleep in his swing right now.  We started the day with our walk.   Then Roy went to take Dylan home and garage sale peeking, and so I chatted with my sister for a while.  When Roy returned we had to prepare for our walk thru with our tenants.  Thank Goodness Roy’s cousin agreed to be there to do the walkthru professionally.  Roy ended up having to leave the house after he and the man of the tenants started to raise voices.  With the walk thru complete, it seems we may have new tenants tha will move in this week.  More on that later. 

This afternoon we did the watering in the yard together.  THen we came upstairs and fed and then did tummy time.  We did time on his back on his changing table (favorite spot!) and then on his back on his comforter.  He got grouchy on the comforter and I tried to nurse him, but he didn’t want that.  He got into his swing and was still grouchy.  So I told him that I’d give him a bath.  Roy came in and said Curt was going to Tommy’s for food and so I ran outside and gave him a take out menu so we could call it in and he could just go pick it up.  That’s cool!  I don’t have to cook tonight!  Yay!  So I called it in, and then put the kiddo in his bath.  I wished I had my camera so I could have taken a still shot of his beautiful face, but I wouldn’t leave him in the tub (not even for a second!!) So I did not get any shot of him!  He bathed for a while until he got fussy (approx 10 min.)  Now he’s in his swing.  I thought he was asleep, but he’s mildly fussy. 

Roy brought home a 70’s Datsun truck.  He actually bought 2 TRUCKS for $500!!  what a screamin’ deal!!  Thanks Craigslist!!  one of the trucks runs!!  The other is also a 70’s Datsun, so I’m sure Roy will utilize all the parts off that one!  Right now he’s down there cleaning the running truck.  He’s going to use it to go back and forth to work, now that he has to drive to his Dad’s other property for work.  I wonder how long he’s going to be working up there.  I wonder if he’s still going to be working up there when I go back to work and his mom has to watch the baby.  That will make taking the baby more convenient as it’s going to be where he goes to work.  But once he’s back to working out of our property, he’s not going to want to drive the baby 20 min. away!!  ah well.  At least Grandma is going to watch him!!

Little Robert IS asleep in his swing.  What a little lovey.  He’s taking his pacifier and just chillin’ in just his diaper.  It’s just too dang hot outside (prob over 100 today) so we’re inside with the air conditioner on. 

Welll our food just got here so I’m going to go EAT!!
