San Diego 2

San Diego Day 2

It was 75 degrees yesterday in Ohio.  San Diego maxed out at about 57.  Anyone who knows me or knows how I was looking forward to warm weather in California will find the humor in this.  It’s a funny kind of thing.  In the apartment right now it’s sunny and bright but the temp outside is stull under 60 degrees and past nine o’clock.  We talked about the beach today but I don’t think its going to be above 70 today anyway.  At least its sunny an beautiful.

Yesterday it was cloudy all day.  Since we didn’t have much going on in terms of weather cooperation, we hit up the "world-famous" San Diego Zoo.  Alas, there was no hype concerning a pregnant panda and the aspiring young anchor –people covering it.

We did the bus tour with two level buses and got to walk around quit a bit afterword.  Some of the exhibits were great.  The pandas, the big cats, the crocodile, birds or prey, and the assortment of chimps on hand are always fun to watch.  The otters were really cool.  I think they were the only animal we saw all day that actualy played.  Even if they are couped up a bit, they still have their fun.

After the zoo we split up from the rest of the party and Jarrod and I made a trip to a place that I think was La Mesa,  I want to say that there is a college there somewhere nearby…one that I should know.  His buddy’s house is right off one of the main streets there.  He brought in extra chairs to a packed living room to watch the UFC fight.  Anyone who missed it oughta know…the Frenchman from Canada ended up winning.

My hours are still a little backward I guess.  I keep waking up at four in the morning and feel like its time to get up.  At eleven at night I feel knocked out…I guess that all makes sense since I am three hours behind in terms of routine.

Well, not too much to report on here I guess.  Been a great Saturday and hopefully Sunday will be nice and relaxed.  Friday morning I walked down to Mission Bay and went for a little jog.  Thinking of going for a repeat today.  However, today, I will not neglect the sun-screen.

Peace and Love

I always loved SD Zoo when I was a kid but havent been in years. I deffinitly want to head down there. The college is SDSU. Or StDSU if you are involved in the party scene down there. With the weather warming and the sun out most days, the skirts start coming out, and they leave glory in their wake.
