Late Sunday Evening….

Hi all! I’ve just been reading and noting, trying to catch up with my faves. Thanks for all the encouraging notes for the last entry.  We’ve got another presentation thingy to do at work next week. This time it’s to help team building by all of us sharing something about where we were born. So, I’ve been googling info about Ireland trying to figure out what to do for the meeting.

On Wednesday when I visited the chiropractor I was telling him about the weekness and pain in my left arm that was causing me grief all day. It’s been giving me pain for over a year now. Sometimes it’s fine and then some days it gets really bad. I had thought it was the carpal tunnel affecting my whole arm, but he says it is a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder. Don’t know how the heck I’ve done it though. He says massage, physio and home exercises should help. When I was talking to someone at work about it she said she had it for five years. It got so bad for her she needed help getting dressed. She had surgery last year and said the difference is like night and day, it’s so much better now.  

The weather has still been cooler than normal and we’ve had a lot of rain all week and this weekend. I haven’t been doing much. It’s too wet and chilly to go outside for long. Friday on the way home from work I stopped by the hairdressers and had my hair cut. Yesterday my friend, Hellen and her boyfriend dropped by for a visit in the afternoon. They stayed for a cup of tea and a chat. He seems very nice for her.  It was a good visit, but short. Later, I had to walk down to Shopper’s Drug Mart to pick up a new inhaler perscription and a few other odds and ends. My nephew Timmy was here so I took him with me & treated him to McD’s. We hadn’t done that for a long time. 

Today nothing more exciting than a couple of games of Scrabble with dad, some laundry  and playing Neopets. Oh, and I changed the backgrounds and setting of my diary. What do ya think?

I better go, I’ve got to make some dinner. Have a good week my friends.
