The Ball is Rolling
After my latest career discussion with Boss Man it’s clear that my contributions to the current team are no longer wanted nor required. I have an interview with another facility tomorrow in the new division. I would appreciate any positive energy or prayers y’all can send my way. I’m a little nervous about it since I haven’t interviewed for anything in a while and I was never very good at it, and for another I’ve been out of the hurly-burly rough and tumble of operations for two years now and may have trouble with “tell me about a time…” questions.
At any rate I’ve got the morning off to prep and do the interview, hopefully I’ll know something by the end of the week.
Best of luck! I used to be an interviewer and if you’d like my two best tips, here they are.
An interview is about the person, not the paper. Your skills and qualifications are already laid out for them. Relax the best you can and be yourself.
If you truly want the position, the most important thing to tell them is that you do want the job!
I hope you get it, if that’s what you want!
