Yay! Now its on your diary. 🙂

You sound like you know more languages than me! I just know english, american sign language, and I’m learning french and japanese, but I’m not very good yet… 🙁

January 11, 2007

yay! it’s here now on my diary! no, i can’t compare to you…look at what you know: sign language, french and japanese…i’d love to learn those! in fact i love languages!!! i’m pretty sure very soon you’d beat me in knowing more languages. er, nina i know i said i’d put up an entry for my holidays but basically i didn’t do anything much there so can i have a different punishment?

January 11, 2007

i don’t know what’s wrong with me these days, i keep leaving out words out from sentences…God! this’s not good. a confession, normally i can’t stand reading long text like blogs or journal anywhere but i’m reading yours…initially it’d be “no, nina not this long” and after “c’mon him, read it and you’ll see it’s interesting”…LOL

January 11, 2007

so are we abandoning the old “conversations” (so sad)… we’re not going to write there any more, however, if we can i’d like us to treasure it…ok? =)

All day, I do different things. I don’t really have an official “job”. I do odd jobs for people, write, teach myself more of the languages I’m learning, cook… It’s kind of boring, but its only been a little bit since I started feeling better and not depressed, so I figure soon I can get back to doing things normally. right? right.

At college I was depressed because my family was absolutely insane. Besides my parents divorcing, they would do really weird things. My mom would call me, 800km away, to tell me to call my sister (back home, maybe a mile from my mom) that she would be home late. It drove me nuts. Also, my mom didn’t really want me to talk to my dad, and I did, and so I always felt guilty. It just went down hill.

And, I’m so sad now because I feel alone. All my friends are still off at their own colleges, and have no time for me. My mom and I don’t get along. My sister doesn’t talk to me. I really have no aunts or uncles or cousins that talk to me. I came to live with my dad because my mom was being unreasonable, and I have almost no friends here. I don’t know what to do.

lol. Sorry for complaining so much about my life back there. I’ll stop now. happy thoughts. You pictured me fairly well. My hair is dark brown, not light, but it is at my shoulders. I do wear glasses, and have pale skin. I don’t think I’m thin… just not fat. What do you look like?

Hmm. If you can’t think of anything interesting to say about your holidays, maybe you can tell me about what you do during your days? And, yes, of course we will treasure the other “conversations”. It was the original!

January 12, 2007

See what I mean…instead of saying “we are” I said “are we”. Define “odd jobs”. So most of the time you’re home bound? Right…LOL!

January 12, 2007

My parents are divorced too…but they talk to each other normally. Yes, having your parents divorced or separated is no fun…but some kids in the states do get kicks out of this…if their parents are not divorce they will try hard to get them there, I wonder why? So you’re not alone, see…I’m there too!

January 12, 2007

I haven’t seen my mom in…*counting the years on fingers*…yes, 15 years…time flies! Before coming here to Pakistan last August I was in Saudi Arabia, well actually I’m going back there again at the end of this month to renew my visa. I live there with my dad and two younger sisters. Without having to leave I already know how much I love them and the distance multiplies that.

January 12, 2007

I think one good thing that American society teaches is how to be independent in every way at young age…but then the cons…loneliness and you get estranged with your loved ones. I can not fathom why your sister won’t talk to you, is she the only sibling you have? I know this doesn’t help much because I’m miles away over here but …I’m your friend, aren’t I? As you are mine!

January 12, 2007

No need to apologize…I just thought I was the only one being so down…I think it’s due to lack of confidence whatsoever…it’s ruining my life. I’m trying to build it, here, in this semester. To participate more in class, be teacher’s pet (you get good marks like that) and act more my age which is hard cause I’m surrounded with people who are six years younger than me, so I have to go with the flow!

January 12, 2007

Aha! I’d like you to be my guest and describe me, what do you think I look like? And then I’ll tell you what I look…is it ok? Well, from Monday to Friday I attend university and on most weekends I go to my aunt’s. I live in a hostel which is 5-10 minutes walk to the uni.

January 12, 2007

Ok, in brief…I get up around 6:30/7, have shower, get dressed, have breakfast, brush teeth, walk to uni., hang out with class mates before the first class, attend second class and third class, hang out with friends at lunch, go back to hostel and eat lunch two hours after the time.

January 12, 2007

Then I come back to the uni. And get on the computer to see you here. But the sad thing is that I may not come as often now because I’m not really studying…will you understand? I mean I would still be here (almost) on daily basis but a time will come when I can not.

Yes, I’m home bound most of the time, except when I go downtown… except its so cold here now! Odd jobs are just whatever anyone wants done that I can do. I tutor kids, sew things, do research for people, etc.

In america, some kids are so sick of their parents arguing that they just wish it was over. I’m not like that, I was sad when my parents divorced, but what can you say? Yes, you’re my friend, and I appreciate the things you say. It does help me. You have all sorts of things to be confident about. You sound very brave, going to a different country for college.

oh, gosh, I don’t know how I would describe you. Umm… well, I picture you with tan skin, dark eyes, short-ish black hair, medium height? Am I anywhere near close? Yes, my sister is the only sibling I have. I love her very much even though she doesn’t talk to me. I mean, she’s my sister!

Yes, I’ll understand if you’re not online every single day. I wouldn’t want to do anything to keep you from studying. In uni, that’s important. Good luck in your studies! You sound like you love your family very much. 🙂 If I may ask, why haven’t you seen your mom in so long?

January 16, 2007

there is no specific reason that i didn’t see my mom…it’s just that when we moved, me and my sisters, we were hoping that she could join us but she didn’t. so since the time we daparted it’s been now 15 years!!! i don’t know how i feel about her, i mean she’s my mom and everything but i’m kind of neutral. i’ve got very little love in there… 🙁

January 16, 2007

yes, i love my sisters and dad very much coz we all have been together and so on… the distance has made it stronger for me. if i may ask, what’s the reason your that (older/younger?) sister doesn’t talk to you? bull’s eye…you’ve described me perfectly! i wear specs too. really it’s not bravery, it’s more like a “have to” case.

When my parents divorced, my sister took my mother’s “side”, and decided that since I wanted to still talk to both parents that I was betraying my mom. She hasn’t talked much to me since I came back from college. 🙁 Oh, and thank you for your email address! I’ll send you one right away! 🙂 I’ll have to work on updating my picture so that its actually more than a face soon… hmm…

Its interesting that distance made you feel neutral about your mom, but stronger about your sisters. I might be moving very far from my mom and sister soon, and I hope that they keep talking to me, but I don’t really know, and I’m worried.

January 18, 2007

no, what i meant is that i’ve not seen mom in 15 years so the feeling is just dying out…not totally gone yet. with sisters it’s only 5 months separation and we’ve been together since we’re born, this is the first time i’ve been away this long. i love my mom…deep deep down, nothing on the surface!

January 18, 2007

Thanks 🙂 i hope i do 🙂

I understand that “deep down I love them” feeling. That’s how I feel about my grandmothers, even though I haven’t seen them in a very long time, and I never really knew them very well. College can be tough because you’re learning and studying, and yet you’re so far from some people you love so much! I’ve been there, and I understand.

Again, though I’ve already given you a note about this, thank you for walking with me. Is there anything I can do you “walk with you” on something?

January 20, 2007

i didn’t quite get you on the last note…”walk with me”? …*blushing coz nina smiles* heading towards your christianity post, miss!

I know it was a long post, it’s fine if you didn’t read all of it. I didn’t mean my email to make you feel guilty! I mean, I write so much, I can’t expect anyone to read all of it! Thank you for trying, though. As to the walk with me thing, is there anything you need my support on? That would sort of be walking with you.

When you visit me? Oh, that may be a bit off, unfortunately, since I don’t even know where I’ll be in March! But, to answer your question, I live in the USA, in the eastern part of Washington state where there is very little rain or snow. Lots of sage brush. It would be nice to have a visit, though.

Oh! and yes, I’m a bit religious. It’s a bit weird, because I know quite a lot about spirituality and religion (both mine and others) but sometimes I just get tired of the ritual of it all, and so I spend as little time as possible at church. Like I said, strange.

January 23, 2007

so r u bodering with idaho?

January 23, 2007

i’m not that religious but i may be soon in near future cos i’m getting tired with life so i’d work for the hereafter.

Yes, I’m about a 3 hour drive from Idaho. I’m not in Spokane, but I’m near it. The town I’m in is so tiny you probably couldn’t find it on most maps! I’m sorry about your girl problems. That must be tough. I hope everything works out. Yeah, religion gives people hope. Well, some religions do. I guess we all have to examine what we believe at some point and become more or less religious.

Oh! And if you ever need any girl advice from a girl, I’m here. 🙂 For future reference.

January 25, 2007

hi, nina! i’ll be flying back to jeddah, saudi arabia next sunday and hopefully stay there for two weeks then fly back to lahore, pakistan…(where i am currently!). it’s for renewal of visa and residence permit. i’ll definately tell you about this recent girl problem as soon as i feel better…God knows i’ll probably write you from KSA…LOL!!!

January 25, 2007

if it’s still cold there i’m sending you huggies…hehehe! *sigh*…woe is girl…a particular one for each time!

Well, good luck on all the visa renewal and stuff. 🙂 Will you get to spend much time with your sisters and dad while you’re back there? Sounds like a rushed schedule. hmm… “woe is girl”… I think shakespeare said something like that once, but I can’t find the quote now… It’s still a little cold here, but I have blankets, so its good.

I was happy today. Finally got a poem finished. I’ve been working on it for weeks. Just couldn’t get it right. But, its finished now, whether its good or not. lol.

I hope you’re feeling better soon! About the problems, I mean.

*pokes himindy* you still here?

February 12, 2007

*pokes tumbleweeddown back* yep! i’m here, i’m back. how r u? how’ve u bn? =P =) =D

I’ve been alright. 🙂 Been a little bored, but excited at the same time. My father and I may be moving soon. Don’t know where. Its sorta of an adventure. 🙂 The first conversations is still there, right where we left it. 🙂 What have you been up to? Did you get to see your family while you were gone? Anything fun happen? Anything sad? Anything exciting?

February 12, 2007

Yes, I read about that in one of your entries, so you must be really psyched! Conversation: Well, I didn’t see it but I’ll find it.

February 12, 2007

Ah, yes! So I went to see my family. I flew out on 28th January from Lahore (Pakistan), after two hours delay because of heavy fog. I reached Muscat (Oman) in 3 hours and the transit period there supposed to be for 9 hours but another flight delay so ended up waiting for 12. After that I flew to Manama (Bahrain) reached there in another 3 hours

February 12, 2007

and supposed to fly again after 30 minutes but they told me “your flight has been postponed to tomorrow, sir.” I was like “what the…” Well they put me in a hotel and I flew out from Bahrain the next morning. So which could have been a 6 hour direct flight took me 3 days to reach my family.

February 12, 2007

So yeah I saw my dad and sisters. I stayed there for 10 days and enjoyed the last day only, because that was when my sisters and I went out to cozy restaurant where we ate and have sheesha. We smoked to the level where we could not walk straight. “Smoked driving” LOL…

February 12, 2007

The sad thing is I think to be departed yet again from your loved ones. And for girl problem I have set my bar higher and adopting new strategy (well, almost!), so hopefully there won’t be any problem there. Thanks for mentioning my name in your entry, even though I’m not sure if I deserve mentioning. So what have you been up to besides from what you’ve already told me???

Of course you deserve mentioning! While you’ve been gone I have been writing. I can’t get one type of poem right, but I’ll keep trying, and maybe I’ll get better? My computer broke, so I’ll need a new one (I’m on my father’s right now) but almost everything is saved, so its alright. I’m probably moving soon all the way across the U.S. I don’t know for sure, but probably.

Being seperated from people you love is very sad. I hope that one day you’ll be able to be close to them again. I hope that someday I’ll be able to have everyone I love be close to me too. I got up the courage, and made a great big dinner for my father and I where I cooked everything. I haven’t done that in a really long time, and it felt good. And I didn’t burn anything! 🙂

February 13, 2007

well it’s valentine time already here in pakistan and i think i’m going to have a crappy day coz there’re thesed two girls who i got stuff to give and thery are no show so far

February 13, 2007

kudos to you then for not burning the food. when i cook(cooked once or twice) for my family nobody ate coz it was too salty. it was supposed to be a punishment for me coz i complained alot about food that were cooked at home, but it ended up as a punishment for them…LOL anyway, now i don’t complain i just appreciate it but don’t say thanks!

Ahh… sad! I hope the girls show up! Maybe you’ll get better at cooking in time? I love cooking but usually have no one to cook for. I used to bake cakes and stuff all the time and end up trying to give slices away because my mom and sister and I couldn’t eat it all. *sigh* It’s a beautiful day here. I think I’m going to go for a walk. Hope you have a good day!

February 14, 2007

hi! happy valentine to you too! here i got something for you… *pulling out something out of his jeans pocket, which appears to be a closed fist but only thumb, index finger and little finger pointing outward*…LOL. it’s for you!

February 14, 2007

so yesterday didn’t turn out to be a good day for me. both the girls show up, one rejected my valentine and another, well i didn’t have enough guts to go up to her for a couple of reasons. anyway, am working my way there slowly, you know in an acceptable and reasonable speed. so any roses or chocolate for you?

Yay! lol. *takes her bit of empty space and treasures it* Happy Valentines Day to you too. Did your people ever show up so you could give them something? Here Valentines Day is coming to a close, and I have a box of toffee. Which was my father’s. But he doesn’t like toffee. So its mine now.

Its been a good day, except that I tried and failed to get a library card today. Grr… Why do I need two pieces of identification for a library card? I don’t want to work there, I just want to read the books!

February 16, 2007

are empty spaces worth treasuring?

Empty spaces are very worth treasuring. They are just as beautiful as having something there. It means that something was there before or maybe will be again. You can think about what was there. God created beauty in the things that aren’t there too. Why do you ask? What empty space do you see?

ahh. Never mind my question.

This is still tumbleweeddown, by the way. I just changed the name. It’s still me!

February 19, 2007

hi, nina! uhmm, i wanted to ask u wats ur real name? and if it’s ok can i have ur number? hugs and cookies!

February 20, 2007

wow! this is my first time here and not seeing u. now i know how it feels like whn i’m away and u wer hr. so how are u? doin well, huh? take care!

My real name is Jeannine. “Nina” comes from jeannina, and miss jo is because my middle name is Odette, so I’m j.o. lol. awww… I’m missed! yes, life is good. I think I’ll know soon where I’m moving to. I’m not completely sure right now. wouldn’t the phone number be really long distance, because its international? I’ll give it to you if you want, though.

I was looking at my plant that I have, in a pot. I usually name my plants (not normal in the US, but oh well), and I’m not sure what a good name would be. hmm. Any suggestions?

February 22, 2007

yay! ur back. of course u wer missed…argh! the feelin. nice names, especially odette…beautiful! mine’s ibrahim and him’s last three letters, obviously! i used to name my plants too and best is that u give them gals’ names. i had two and they were betty and alex!

February 22, 2007

yes, it wud rip my wallet for the call but ummm…. i guess me being is not so much about postin entries any mo but rather to find u here and talk to u…LOL =P evntho most of it is not constructive…*sigh*

February 22, 2007

ahmm, ummm, er, ummm…d number plz? heh heh heh ^_^;

February 22, 2007

one of the reasons that i go(come) to ur page is bcoz it dsnt hurt my eyes… love being there(here)!

awww… thanks! I try to make my page not too bad looking. 🙂 Hmm. I was thinking of naming my plant Jim? ok. let’s see if I can figure out the international calling numbers…. its IDD + country code + phone number, I think, so that would make my phone…. 011 1 5093986811 Remember that right now its 4:11 am and where I am right now its 3:11 pm!

I was named after some people my mom met in france. I think my name’s pretty too! *sigh* I’ve been walking so much around town lately and not taking a car that my feet hurt. So now I’m sitting and drinking pink lemonade. People should make shoes that don’t make my feet hurt! lol. I’ve been going through my stuff, figuring out what I want to take when I move again.

I just borrowed a book on bonsai from a friend of mine. I’m thinking of maybe starting one. Hmm. Hard to decide. Its a big commitment… bonsai take years. I’ll think about it. What been going on in your life?

February 26, 2007

i’ve been listening to these songs of celine dion but i don’t know what they mean…could u tell me, plz? apprandes moi. des milliers de baisers. je lui dirai. le vol d’un ange. mon homme. retiens-moi. rien n’est vraiment fini.

February 26, 2007

“Remember that right now its 4:11 am and where I am right now its 3:11 pm!”…nina, i’m confused! so you’ll be leaving some of your things behind? you must have lots of patience to be dealing with bonsai…LOL…not to mention you already know knitting…*smiles*

February 26, 2007

nothing new is happening in my life…*sigh* just the same old stuff. with that i wonder why oh why do ppl find lives of other ppl more interesting than their own?

The song says: “I’m learning thousands of kisses I will read you a thief of an angel my man hold me its never really over.”

I try to have patience, but I don’t always have it. I was just reminding you about the time difference. I once called a friend in Australia, and she said that it was 3 am! Oops. I meant to call her at 3 PM her time, but got mixed up. I’m not sure why people find other’s lives interesting. To me, I just like watching people, so hearing about them is like watching them, sort of.

about your note on my entry: why are you not sure whether to laugh or cry?

There! I have a picture now. 🙂

February 27, 2007

Q: Why do you ask? A: well, at that moment i was horrible. to me empty space is kind of sad. it gives u the feeling that u’ve lost something. like u said there “was” something there, but now there’s nothing! Q: What empty space do you see? A: it’s where hope was.

February 27, 2007

ok, truth time… i ddnt miscalculate the time difference. it’s just plain, simple old eagerness thing. ^_^; uhmm, nina! is this a must answer Q: why are you not sure whether to laugh or cry? coz i dnt y i said that. =P thanx for the translation of the french!

February 27, 2007

wow! u’ve put ur pic up for me? was i very insisting on it? LOL =D God! i dnt rmmbr. u ddnt hav to but really, thanx! so i guess it’s only fair that i show myself, huh?

February 27, 2007

this’s what i dialed +1 5093986811 ddnt need the other code. you sound very young…LOL! and ahmm, how do i sound? and were u surprised? i reckon u ddnt think i wud call, rite?

February 27, 2007

hello! r u thr? how r v today? gud i hope.

Yes, yes, I’m here. I wasn’t for a day, but i’m back. I’m alright today. But its morning and nothing has gone wrong. hehe. You sounded normal. *shrug* And, yeah, I wasn’t sure you’d call. I’m glad you did, though. As for learning about other religions… I learn about Islam if you learn about Christianity?

You can put your picture up if you want. No rush. If you need anything else translated, just tell me.

February 28, 2007

well, actually i’ve sent the pics to u! LOL, so how do i look? oh, ok that’ll be fantastic learning about religions. altho i’ve gone astray a bit, so i think i’ll be sort of excited to have you tell me about something in my religion…heh heh heh! happy new month!

You looked fine. I kind of knew what to expect because you described yourself, or, rather, I described you, and you told me if I was right! Yay! Ok, so… since we are each learning about different religions, do you want to ask questions, or give little mini “lessons” each, or something else? Happy New Month to you too!

March 1, 2007

well, no Qs at time being but pls go ahead and teach me something about christianity!

Oh dear. Now I have to figure out where to begin! Umm… well, the most important values in christianity are truth, justice, forgiveness, and love.

God loves us, we believe, and so we are supposed to love each other and the world. But, there is also the truth that the world isn’t perfect, and that we are always doing things wrong. And we believe that really, we deserve for God to just abandon us because we never follow God’s rules.

And christians believe that God sent Jesus, who we say is His son, to be punished in our place, so that we can be forgiven. And because God forgives us, we are supposed to forgive others. (ack. I write too much. – now tell me something about islam.)

March 2, 2007

well, we believe in One God who’s Allah and that Prohphet Muhammad (peace be upon him)is his last messenger. we also believe in angels, hereafter and judgement day!

March 2, 2007

it’s said that God has sent 124,ooo prophets on earth and most of them are from palestine or the middle east region. oh, also we believe in the teaching of the Holy Quran…our book!

Ok, so, my first question: are all the 124,000 prophets here all at once or throughout the ages or…? And how can you recognize them? Errr… that was three questions. Oh well. In Christianity, prophets are God’s messengers, along with angels, and His Son Jesus.

Christians’ book is the Bible. We also believe only in one God, but He is three in one. There’s the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Spirit, and they are all God, and there is only one God. The three of them are in perfect harmony and relationship between them, and so there are three persons in our one God.

On a non-religion note, how have your days been? Anything interesting to report? I’m doing fine, and getting ready to move, although its still a month and a half away. Finally finished the book my father and I were reading, and started another one. 🙂

March 4, 2007

my days began as usual with me gettin up late and stuff like not really studying probably make me hate myself.

March 4, 2007

well, most of the prophets are as i said from (got sent) this part of the world but of course through the ages, the first one being Adam then Noah then Ibrahim and so on…the thing is that we can’t remembr all of them as not all of them have been mentioned. there are only specific ones that we know of for the events and miracles from God. yes prophets r messngrs of God.

March 4, 2007

it mostly worked like this that Arch Angel Gabriel used to relay the messages from God to the Propets, then the Prophets preached to the people. Musa/Moses was the only Prophet who had spoken to God. now the focal points of controversy b/w muslims and christians is dat muslims believe dat Jesus/Issa was not the Son of God but a Prophet himself. and he did not die at the cross but was lifted alive.

March 4, 2007

and on Doom’s day he (Jesus) will return 2 lead d army of believers wt his second in command a pious man named “Mahdy” against the force of non-believers wt their general being d cyclop named “Dajjal”. also the muslms believe datit was Ishmael not Issac who was sacrified to God. for us spirits are being created by God either from light (good spirit) or from fire (bad spirits), satan is 1 (fire).

March 4, 2007

non-religious note pls check this. http://www.personaldna.com/report.php?u=1489731ba8ff

oh, is that you? *thinks a minute* of course its you, (silly jeannine, why would he post personality results about someone else?) I’m a little out of it right now.

Hmmm… if you believe it was Ishmael who God tested Ibrahim/Abraham about, then do you believe that Ishmael was the son God promised through Sarah? And, Christians believe that Ibrahim’s son wasn’t actually sacrificed, that God stopped Ibrahim at the last minute and gave him sometihng else to sacrifice. Does that hold true for Islam?

Christians believe that Jesus will come back too, but we also believe that he did indeed die, and was then lifted into heaven after being raised from the dead after three days. This is important to Christians, because if Jesus didn’t die, then our sins are not forgiven, and we all are doomed to condemnation. (besides the fact that if Jesus didn’t rise from the dead we’re all wrong.)

Oh, I kind of get what you mean by prophets. We believe in prophets and saints. Prophets are those who spoke to God and then relayed their messages to the people (we count elijah, moses, deborah, hosea, in this catagory), and saints are followers of God (adam, ibrahim, david are in this catagory)

Also question: why would God create spirits who are bad from the beginning? I mean, since God is good.

We believe that everything God created was good at the beginning, and then things were corrupted by evil (mainly satan, who disobeyed God).

On a non-religious note, its really good that its Sunday (our day of rest) because I’m so tired. I mean, not sleepy, just worn out.

March 5, 2007

hey, nina! i’ll be away for a few days…got some business to take care of. and also i will return wt d ans to ur Qs. meanwhile take care! c u soon!

Ok, see you soon.

Hey, if you’re here, I’m going to be gone for about two weeks. I’ll tell you all about my adventures when I get back, ok? 🙂

March 18, 2007

ok!

I’m back now! How was your away time? Mine was lovely. 🙂

March 26, 2007

hello there! i’m back too…but my time is not as lovely as urs, from wat u’ve told me!!!

Oh, that’s sad. Something bad happen? Tell me about it.

March 29, 2007

well, life just sucks in general…like m thinkin wat/whr d heck m doin/goin wt my life, roomate, relatives, loneliness and etc. i feel like i need a therapist, only if their fee weren’t so high! and nina if it’s ok i would like to not to talk about religions now…i saw other friends with different beliefs not being that friendly with each other anymore … so is it ok? uhmm, so r u settled?

Yeah, sure. We can talk about something other than religion. Just know that I’m never going to get mad at you for saying what you think. No, not settled, just the opposite, really! Still packing. When I left college for my parents’ house, I was packed and gone in two days. Now, its been over a week, and it will be two weeks more before we’re gone. So long. I feel restless. But I hate cleaning.

What do you think of post-it notes? I have a stack here, and a longing to write a note about something, but it just isn’t working. There is nothing to write a note about. And sticking an empty note onto something seems silly.

post it note…i think there’re useful but careful dnt use too many of them or u’ll get into confusion of a sort. i saw this guy went bonkers over these chits! but i thought u love to see everything clean and in order…may be reachin ur hands towards dirt is the problem?!?

Well, yeah, dirt is really more a problem for me than things not being perfectly neat. I do like notes. There’s something nice about having something that says “oh, and this too”. The thought of “oh, yeah, I’m actually going away” is starting to set in, and I’m realizing how many friends I’ll miss! sadness… I’m still excited about all the new stuff I’ll see, but I’m sad now too.

April 2, 2007

gee, u’ve a lot in common wit an army brat…LOL!!! u know, movin from places to places, making new friends and experiencing new stuff… wanna hear sumthin funny? my room no. is 13 and it happens to be the best room in the dorm…lol. speaking of which i need to do the laundry!!!

I had an army brat in my dorm at college. She and I got along quite a bit. I love it when the number 13 thing is the best, even though people don’t expect it to me. just shows that you shouldn’t be superstitious. 🙂

April 3, 2007

LOL…i can let go of all the superstious stuff but there’s one thing that i believe blindly which is that no one shud ever touch my head/hair!!! how are you, today?

No one should touch your hair? Reminds me of Sampson. I’m alright today. I’m feeling a bit tired, but beyond that its alright. Its Holy Week this week in the Christian religion, and that means lots of celebration, meditation, and church services. And stress. *sigh* How are you doing? Anything new?

April 7, 2007

so u must b really bz these days with services and stuff. i think it’s “SAMSON”. Well, not quite i just think it’s so darn rude for any younger person or ur wife/girlfriend to touch ur hair…. well, most things r just the same … finals’ approachin! trying to find a job as well, also had a quarrel wt roommate (waitin for a chance to knock his 32 out!!!) just hopin dat it won’t escalade!!!

Yeah, pretty busy, although today is Easter Saturday, which really doesn’t have a service, so I get a break. Oh dear, what was your fight with your roommate about?? I can understand younger people and girlfriend not touching your hair, but wife? At that point, being married, wouldn’t you two be allowed to touch each other, hair and all?

April 9, 2007

i’m so bad… happy easter nina!…belated! well, d @#$%&* roommate is basically an *&%$#@! u just wanna smack his face…he’s so (no words, really no words!) yep, evn for my wife my hair wud b off limits…actually this superstition is for them only!!!

I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time with your roommate. Hopefully it will get better? Thank you. Easter was lovely. *sigh* four days until I leave for west virginia. ack! make it be over with!

April 14, 2007

gettin in better situation wt d roomate? i sure hope so. so wats next after easter? so i can wish u accordingly! all the best wt d journey…hav a gud one!

The next holiday after Easter is Ascension Day, on May 17. 🙂 Thank you for wishing me a good journey. I’m on the first day now. Four more days to go! How have you been? What is the next holiday for you?

April 20, 2007

i’m doing good, how about u? r u thr yet? have u heard abot the VT killings? i don’t keep track of the holidays, but i’m pretty sure that the next one would be in mid october somewhere. it’s called “EID”. U know after the fasting month of ramadan!

Yeah, I’ve heard about the killings. The news really doesn’t have anything else but that on! Yeah, I’m glad of being older because that means I’m not a child. Some people can’t tell what age I am, and they always think I’m younger than I am. I’ve been doing well. Finally all moved. Glad that’s over. Interesting to meet new people, but I’m a little lonely. How are you?

April 27, 2007

i’m ok…just a bit pre occupied these days. so new beginning then….i’m sure u must hav made loads of frnds already, so y r u still lonely?

May 2, 2007

hello, jo? r u thr? i meant nina, jo just came out!

Yes, sorry. I’m here. After all the chaos of getting to know a new place I’ve neglected the web. I’m sorry! And you can call me jo if you want, I don’t care. No, my number is different now. If you want the new one, just note me and say so. How are you doing? Its rough when people can’t tell what age you are. People are always asking my age, and they always get it wrong!

May 3, 2007

yep, yep ur # is a must have ^_^ can i have it pls? wat kind of rude ppl ask a lady’s age!!!! LOL… wow, how dd u find me on facebook? *wondering*

lol. Well, yes, its rude to ask a lady’s age, but its not rude to ask a child’s age (at least in the US) and they always think I’m about 5 years younger! I found you on facebook through your email. I put in my address book, and people who I knew through address but not facebook came up. And so I found you!

my new # is (304) 545-6792

May 16, 2007

hmmm, nina who’s A?

A is a guy I know named Alan. We’ve known each other for about 4 years, starting back in highschool. He flirts alot and sometimes says things he doesn’t mean, so I’m never sure if he likes me or is just joking. We’re so different, I don’t think dating would work out. I’m not even sure he likes me. I’m just confused. lol. but, yeah. any other ?s?

How have you been while I’ve been gone?

May 18, 2007

oh, ok … but don’t you want to give it a try, just asking as i don’t know the whole situation…. =S hmm, i’ve been ok and i got news for you, i took a semester off coz … *drum rolls* … tada! i’m going to thailand this summer! to see my mom after 16 years, what can beat that, right? hee haw! well, roommates r all still the same pig headed people! more of the this msg @ facebook! ciao!

Yay! You’re going to Thailand! Congrats! You have to tell me about it. 🙂 I guess I could give it a try… but we come from such different backgrounds… we have very different values. I don’t know. *is confused* 🙂 See you on facebook!
