Tenor cast, pt I

Ah yes, the obligatory entry about each of the people in my show.  Fortunately, there are only 8 people in the cast this time 🙂

I’ll start with Steve-O.  Steve-O was in Web with me also, so he and I have a bond from that.  He’s a lot of fun.  He is familiar with Star Trek and he walks around whistling the theme from Willow.  All that having been said, I don’t really know him that well.  We were closer during the last show, I think.  We don’t do much together in Tenor.  He’s playing the Bellhop, which is probably the smallest role in the show, and he’s doing a brilliant job of it but he’s not around that much.  We all love him, though.

Then there’s Casey.  Casey, whose name turns out actually to be KC but that’s a hard adjustment to make in my own head, was in CORE with me freshman year.  We weren’t particularly close then, but not only are we the only two juniors in the show, we also have this bond from CORE, so we’re getting to know each other really well now.  I’ve spent a lot of time at her apartment and vice versa, and we eat together a lot.  She’s great.  She’s very different from me, but we get along really well, and have a very easy and relaxed friendship.

Sharone, of course, I’ve written plenty about over the years.  She lives in LA and was my peer advisor, so I’ve known her from the beginning, from before the beginning actually, I met her before even coming to Syracuse.  She’s very high energy and very fun to be around, but not someone I would have wound up friends with if circumstances hadn’t handed us to each other.  As it stands, we’re quite close.  A good thing.

Then there’s Claire.  I had never heard of Claire before the cast list went up.  I was so nervous about her, actually…a senior, Claire M—, who is Claire M—?  But she turns out to be the sweetest, warmest, most lovely person.  I only wish I had gotten to know her earlier.  She’s doing the Lifecycle, though, so we’ll have that time together after she graduates 🙂

You know, I find I really don’t want to be doing this right now.  And while I’ve written about the first three before, Claire is new info, and I want to do her justice, which means coming back to her and the others another day.  And so goodnight.
