Slow summer
I always find that I write less over vacations. Considerably less, apparently. There’s really nothing much going on…I’m sure if something exciting happens, I’ll write about it. I’ve been babysitting for Evie and making connections with possible new clients, sending in applications for work, and replying to casting notices in Backstage West. So far, no letters, from anybody at all. Sam, from Canada, is spending a month here a little later in the summer…I’m looking forward to it with mixed feelings. I’m working on a latch-hook wall-hanging for Sarah, excpet that actually it’s for Elana, because Elana doesn’t care much about the one I made for her and Sarah really loves it, so the theory is that Sarah can have Elana’s and I’ll make a new one for Elana. Oh well. Andrea’s baby is due in a couple of months, we don’t know the gender but Evie is convinced it’s going to be a boy named Alexander. I don’t think she has any evidence to support this claim, but she’s quite adament about it. Fascinating little creature. She’s a real person now, you can have long conversations with her. Elisabeth came and went, it was lovely while she was here but she’s gone now. Likewise the AIDS Lifecycle people. Danny’s still here, hopefully I can take him to the Huntington sometime very soon. I have a cold. And I think that’s about all. So there’s the rundown.
