It’s show week for Jesus Christ Superstar.

I’m playing Pilate, and finally seeing the show come together, hearing the orchestra, and in particular the opening and closing numbers that we haven’t really heard during rehearsals, i’m reminded how much i love this show. Cos to be honest i’ve been a little detached lately. I’m sure i mentioned my ennui in a previous entry, but i’ll let you find it.

P{laying Pilate is a blessing and a curse. I get to show a range of emotion, actory stuff, blah blah blah, but i also get comparatively little time on stage, and the reason anyone does amateur dramatics is because they enjoy doing it and essentially they want to show off. But hey, i’ve avoided the big dance numbers, with my students from dance college coming along, that’s probably no bad thing.

No point as usual, just felt like writing.
