my winter vacation

I should spend a great deal of time talking about where i’ve been the past couple days.  Thursday afternoon i drove down to meet up with Dan and Erin @ erin’s house in hoffman estates.  We hung out for a while and played 10,000… an interesting dice game. Then we went to manny’s billiards and played pool for a couple hours.. that was actualy kind of fun.. i wish janesville had a pool hall (we probaby do but i dont know about it and it prolly has dirty old men there).

On Friday, we went to woodfield mall .. met up with ali and had lunch at John’s Garage… ooh… soo much fried food it was ridiculous because we all got different appitizer samplers.  After that we went shopping for a little while.. found erin a sassy little top at ‘forever 21.’  I also found a top there too… but i choose not to discribe it because you have to see it to believe it… i’m planning on introducing it at the opera light hang… which will be 80s themed.

after we exhausted the shopping, we went back to erin’s and chilled for awhile.. then we drove to akelis’s house in justice… we only took 3 wrong turns, but they all were easily fixable thank god. dan and erin said hi to everyone, then I drove them to midway airport so they could catch an ‘L’ (or is it EL…?) to downtown where her sister was having a party. 

I drove back to akelis’s and partied in the new year.  there was a LOT of food and much drinking… kareoke too.  Finally crashed around 330ish and woke up sometime around noon.  We watched mighty ducks 2 for a little bit and then i decided it was time to drive home.  It was a really easy drive home and then i hung out and relaxed for the rest of the day.

actually, i hung out and relaxed today too.  but that all ends now.  From tomorrow on.. i am being productive and useful… I am getting up at 10 tomorrow to do ALOT!  It all is little things, but nevertheless, my productivity needs to increase…

1. Amazon sold book to post office
2. Shopping at TJ Max with gift card
3. Shopping a couple stores to find new work boots
4. Library to scour ‘for sale’ books for Amazon sellables.
5. …and Damn Yankees CD and/or Movie
6. Write Cover Letters for current job list, Print Them and Resumes and Business Cards.
7. 6-9pm all week will be dedicated to working on my JMS project…. i need to spend at least that much time on it.

Okay, well, my newest recent addiction has been learnign Outlook… unfortunetly without a PDA to carry with me with that list, it is kind of pointless… so, i guess i will just write this down on old fashioned paper and see how well it goes.

by the way, i haven’t really decided on a resolution yet.  This will be such a big tranistion year that it is hard to decide.  I’ll keep you posted tho.  I need to do the traditional ‘hi lights of 2004’ posting in teh next couple days anyways.
